The Gran Hotel is an historical property. It badly needs updating/remodelling. My 5-night stay was marked by a serious leak in the bathroom, which management wanted to wait to repair. ( One substitute room could not be entered due to a faulty door.)There is clear evidence of management weakness, with many examples of employee turnover. Breakfast is ok , served in the hotel's basement restaurant but without much enthusiasm or smiles...no toaster in this restaurant. Sr Umberto, a bellman, was a bright spot..a nice man with more than 30 years' experience at the Gran Hotel.

Good hotel but no a/c in the rooms though. Kind of dated but the breakfast was excellent.

Beautiful property but the homeless in front of the hotel is scary after 10 pm …and the service at the cafeteria was terrible they don’t have idea how to treat the customers and the food was ok the eggs in the morning looks old and cooked by any server not by a chef so they have to pay attention on this part is very important for the reputation

A coffee maker would have been nice

It was ok, pretty old hotel, a walking distance mall Could be a little challenging to walk after 10:00 pm in the neighborhood, people were nice at the hotel

Parking is free and secure always my go to place when in Perria

Nice friendly staff. unfortunately our room did not have A/C, And the bathroom door was just to old so there was lot's of water on the floor every time after taking a shower..And they plenty of vacant rooms and the girl at the front desk did not want to give us one.

Nice hotel in centrally located part of city

Rude ladies at reception upon entry. Acted as if checking us in was an inconvenience. Not welcoming at all. Neglected to return passport after check in. Weird room setup - giant out-of-place fridge, that wasn’t even turned on taking up space. A SOWING NEEDLE WAS LAYING ON THE SHEET THAT WE DISCOVERED UPON LIFTING THE BED COVER. When we brought the needle down to reception and brought the incident to the attention of the male receptionist in the morning, he acted nonchalantly about it and simply showed it to another staff member but didn’t apologize or say a single word to us about it. Avoid this hotel.

I stayed here a few years before and liked it, but was disappointed this year. Especially with breakfast, which was terrible. No longer worth the money
