Nice place. great place. good breakfast. bad: they charge me fot tax and force me to leave a 60 dollar insurance.

LOOKS GOOD, SAFE & QUIET

The room was nice, the bathroom was great, and the bed was decently comfortable. However, we were on the same floor as the restaurant and it was quite loud in the mornings. There was also a restaurant down the street that played very loud music at 1am one of the nights and the windows did not filter the sound very well.

There was leakage of water in the room. From the toilet water was coming in the room.

At one time this was a premier place to stay in Iquique. It is now an older hotel showing some of its age but still a good place to stay because it is in a prime location a block from Playa Cavancha. We stayed 4 nights. Easy walk to Plaza Prat. All rooms have ocean view. Comfortable beds, spacious rooms.and okay bathroom. Safe, refrgerator, hot water kettle, and A/C in room. Typical breakfast. No on site restaurant but six great ones less than ablock away. Limited parking underneath hotel. Wifi was erratic with poor connection speeds. Staff friendly and helpful most with limited English.

Great view of playa Cavancha. Close to several good restaurants. Short walk to downtown. Hot pot in room for coffee and tea.

The hotel lacks maintenance and its quality as a result has diminished considerably compared to few years ago. Reception's people is nice but insufficient. The breakfast restaurant was not at all clean and the food menu was very poor.

The hotel is well located, but they need to improve amenities, like no presence of restaurant, internet didn’t work well and old towels.

Pictures of hotel look great, but I nside the furniture is run-down, there are stains on the walls, and the air conditioning did not work. Ended up cutting the reservation short (even though I had pre-paid and couldn’t get a refund) and went to another hotel.

The room was very hot during the sunset, which made air conditioning necessary. It didn't work at all. The bathroom had these constant sounds of leaks coming from other rooms. My son wanted to use the pool on a Thursday (Monday is the official day they clean the waters) but all we got was a "oh..... using the pool? that can't be done". Other than that, the breakfast was ok, the clean towells were indeed clean, but I am very disappointed. Also, the wifi was sluggishly slow and I needed it as I work in IT. So I will be glad never to return to this hotel.

spark hotel is nothing like it used to be...I remember it as one of the best hotels in Iquique,,, we booked this hotel because the price was pretty decent and we loved it in the past... the hotel has aged badly to start and needs a renovacion, nothing major but little details to make it a top hotel again... housekeeping was not good... knocked on the door and said She could clean the room now or just the next day cause she was going to another floor.... I told her to give me 10 minutes, I left and came back 5 hours later and nothing... the shampoos are only half full, so it feels like they are leftovers... kind of gross in my opinion... the windows are dirty and the breakfast was just ok...

I've been at this hotel 2 years ago and the place was much better. This time you can tell there's lack of maintenance ...for instance the bathroom doesn't have a tray to put the shampoo/soap/etc (you have to put it on the floor), the windows needs cleaning. The pool looks filthy (green water). They don't have a restaurant (last time they had a Japanese restaurant). The only thing that I could say on their favor is they're located near Cavancha beach.

Great hotel in a reasonable location. Customer service was excellent and there are a few good cafe's nearby.

Nice clean hotel right on the Cavancha beach. Good location and decent size rooms. I had a sea facing room, so enjoyed the view throughout my stay.

I shared 4 night in Iquique Spark hotel with my 3-year-old daughter, just on holiday and to relax.

Great location and nice room. I got a nice room for three and it was big enough for my family.
