The first thing, this hotel is in the cliff/mountains so if you want a beachfront this is not it; otherwise you need to walk 15-20 minutes from the highest level to access the beach. So at check in the staff was pretty nice BUT at breakfast multiple times we had rude encounters with the older male staff, the tables for two people weren't properly cleaned nor set and they were not nice at all. The rooms and elevators are very old. You can hear the cleaning staff from early morning, and noises from the hall. Check out is at 10am which is considered very early in my opinion so we got at knock the check out date at 8:45 to clearly kick us out for the room cleaning staff to clean our room, I was appalled to be honest. The overall vibes of the hotel are not luxe, it is very basic, the indoor pool needs to be remodeled and they charge for the pool caps. If you want to relax, this might not be the place to do so. There are a lot of kids running around, very loud music and adults. Would not recommend for a weekend relax getaway.

The view from the hotel was absolutely breathtaking! The beach was beautiful and just a short walk away, making it easy to enjoy whenever we wanted. We had a wonderful stay and loved the stunning surroundings.

This hotel was a zoo. Unbeknownst to us, this hotel offers an all inclusive option and caters to young families. This is not a place to go if you are looking for a relaxing or romantic experience. The hotel is old, probably built in the 60’s and hasn’t changed since. Very outdated. The beds are extremely uncomfortable - you can feel every spring. And each time you turn over, you can hear the crinkle of the plastic mattress cover. The breakfast buffet was poor…better food at a school cafeteria. The pool was filled with smokers, domestic arguments, and screaming children. Choose a different hotel, unless you like chaos and unrest.

Had an amazing vacation. The room was amazing with our Sea view. The staff was very helpful. The only thing I think could be improved upon is the breakfast was always just plain could be spiced up a little bit.

We were a little confused about the parking and location of the resort. You can park at the resort for five euro or if you find a spot within the white line, it’s free. You can also park near the lift at the bottom of the mountain but that parking is not owned by the hotel. There isn’t anywhere to get drinks at the resort besides the bar. Also if you miss lunch and 2pm passes, there isn’t anywhere to eat. We enjoyed the terrace and the views. The beach and pool were also nice. The funicular was broke when we got there and we actually got stuck inside with the maintenance man. It was a little traumatic.

Hotel is better than how it looks from it’s exterior. Our room had the best views. Pool areas are amazing. Breakfast had plenty of selection. Overall, a very pleasant stay!

There is no way to reach the hotel without a car but once there, the funicular and elevators make it very easy to get into town and on the beach. The property is dated although the pool is outstanding. And the scenery is truly spectacular.

This property has an all inclusive program including unlimited drinks and food options including pour your own drinks. The food is buffet style and is ok but could be better but as two hotels share the facilities it can get a little busy and noisy at mealtimes. The pool at the Olimpo can be a bit busy but there is a DJ with music pumping and all day snacks to keep you going. There is a quieter pool at the Hotel Antares and also the benefit of free sun beds with the beach access available. I see it as sort of like a cruise ship on land!

The rooms are finished to a high standard. We had rooms with balcony and sea view and as the hotel is built on a steep hillside the views are spectacular. We particularly loved the Olimpo outdoor pool although there are two others to choos from. Also has its own private beach. Would recommend to any of my family and friends.

This hotel is up on a mountainside! Expedia told me it was 0.12 miles from Letojanni train station, which is why I chose it. IT IS NOT. However, they have a private tram that takes you up to the hotel from down by the train station/highway. It would have been helpful to know about this beforehand as it's very critical info. That said, the hotel has beautiful terraces everywhere and gorgeous views of the Sicilian coastline and the surrounding mountains. The pool and the terrace bar were both quite stunning. On the other hand, this hotel is set up to try to keep you spending money at the hotel. Why would anyone come to Sicily and eat dinner at the $18 hotel buffet when there are myriad local restaurants just down the mountain? Why did I have to pay a $10 "club fee" to use the pool, and then pay another $10 to rent a pool towel? Why does the hotel guide say there's a happy hour in the terrace bar from 5-8 p.m. but then when I got there none of the bartenders had ever heard of that? Unlike most of the other hotels I stayed at in Italy, which were small and family-run, this one was huge and corporate, and accordingly it often felt impersonal and kind of greedy.
