Clean room and friendly staff

The manager was very kind and welcoming. We did not let the property know about our after hours check in (we had not seen the check in hours) and arrived very late. The door was closed, , so we called the phone number on the door. the manager answered immediately and despite the late hour was very welcoming and gave us instructions. Short but very nice stay. Location is very convenient to split the journey from south of France to Paris.

The cutest little hotel, within easy walking distance of the train station. Peaceful little oasis. The one hitch was that there was no one at reception when we checked in or out. The building was locked when we arrived, and we had to call the contact number to get a code to get in. Not a huge deal, as the contact was very responsive and helpful, but we didn't have an international phone plan, so it'll cost us a little.

Very friendly cordial staff, free tea and coffee, nespresso, clean, excellent value comfortable and quiet space. Above all friendly and enthousiastic owner!!

Very good and convenient for an overnight stay while driving through France. Rooms fairly small and basic, nice bathroom. We would use again.

We had a relaxing 2 night stay. Madame was exceptionally helpful. Facilities were good, including a spa which we enjoyed after a day cycling. Breakfast was excellent with great variety. Our only negative comment is that our shower head attachment was broken.

This is a quirky hotel about 10 mins walk from Chalon town centre. It is delightfully quiet, a lttle Fawlty Towers-like, but it serves its purpose well. The breakfast buffet is not quite as good as it should be, doesn't quite hit the mark. But overall an excellent spot for a quiet visit to Chalon- sur-Saône.

Nice comfortable hotel. Still surprised that no form of cooling was available in the bedroom. would have expected at least a ceiling fan in a 3 star hotel, but fortunately the weather was not too hot. Otherwise room was clean and comfortable and the bedside lights were individually controlled.

Overall I very much enjoyed my stay. The location is good, near the TGV station and a short walk to the center of town. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is very friendly. Plus there is a very friendly dog who will come greet you every evening when you walk into the hotel.....he also loves to have breakfast with you! The breakfast served every morning is very good. On-site parking is available. Just be aware that there are several different room sizes, you may get one that is very spacious or one that is very small, I recommend that you specify the size room you want when you book. Also, there is no air conditioning in the rooms, which is only an issue on hot summer days, otherwise not a problem. Other thing to be aware of is that the desk is not staffed 24 hours, and check in time does not begin until 5 PM....a little inconvenient if you are traveling from the US and would like to get into your room upon arrival in Chalon. Overall, though, I really like this hotel and will stay there again.

Excellent location close to A6. For people who like individual hotels this one is well worth visiting. The chalet type rooms at the back of the hotel are great!

Nous avons été très chaleureusement accueillis à la maison Boucicaut, où notre hôte nous a donné des conseils de dîner pour notre court séjour. L'hôtel est en retrait de la rue, dans un petit cocon de calme bien agréable, et la construction HQE du bâtiment permet de garder une température correcte à l'intérieur. Bravo pour la démarche éco-responsable du petit déjeuner qui permet d'éviter le gâchis ; et le prendre dans la cour/jardin fut très agréable. Seul petit bémol, les pains et viennoiseries semblent provenir d'un prestataire pour collectivités, donc qualité moyenne. Pour le reste, ce fut parfait !

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit sehr freundlichen Gastgeberinnen. Gute Parkmöglichkeiten, sehr ruhig und überschaubar. Das einzige Restaurant in der Nähe war leider ausgebucht.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour au calme dans un studio très cosy et bien équipé. L' hôtel propose un agréable salon de détente. Accueil chaleureux et prévenant. Et nos amis à 4 pattes sont les bienvenus. Je recommande cet établissement tres bien situé à Chalon.

Knus hotel met zeer vriendelijke service. Rustige ligging en toch maar een kwartiertje lopen van het centrum. En met een a la carte ontbijt.

J'ai passé un bon séjour

Wir waren als Familie auf der Durchreise nur eine Nacht dort und hatten 2 nebeneinander liegende Zimmer mit Verbindungstür. Es war alles sehr freundlich, das Essen gut, die Besitzerin sehr nett.Einziges Manko, wir waren im EG und da in unserem Zimmer kein Rolladen war, konnten wir nachts die Terrassentür nicht zum Lüften offenlassen. Da sie nicht kippbar war, wurde es leider etwas stickig im Zimmer, aber mit Ventilator war es auszuhalten.Wir würden wiederkommen!
