Way over priced. The room is very small and the bathroom unacceptable. The food was mediocre with very small portions if you order à la carte. The breakfast buffet left much to be desired. Lodging in Iceland is very expensive but for nearly $600 this place is highway robbery. NOT RECOMMENDED!

This is a great hotel on the southern coast. It was a perfect stop over for us. The room was huge, tea kettle was a huge bonus and the breakfast was solid. Would recommend

The dinner spread was delightful and a welcomed change of pace for the food we had eaten in Iceland so far. The breakfast was also really good and included. We enjoyed the hot tub and the staff was kind.

So expensive for what you get photo shows a nice building but we stayed in what looks a form. Breakfast was not good. Buffett dinner worse.

We got a horrible room with no ventilation. Room and bathroom were small. No shampoo or conditioner. We even asked the front desk. On day of checkout front desk said we should have asked for conditioner as they do have it. We did ask and the rude hotel staff said to use what's there. We asked for a different room. They said they were full. We paid full price for this room with no discounts. There were no higher priced rooms. We would never refer this hotel. It was clean and breakfast was good.

Hot tub was very nice, and breakfast was excellent. The bathroom shower wasn’t contained so water got everywhere in the bathroom. We couldn’t adjust the too-warm temperature in the room.

Overall it was a decent stay. The rooms are okay, a bit dark and need a little more light. The restrooms are smaller though. They don’t have a full partition between the shower and toilet/sink so it’s a bit annoying with a wet floor. They didnt have some basic things like shampoo/conditioner as well.

It was wonderful place to stay at Vik. I enjoyed their sauna very much. Rey relaxing after long day of travel. Breakfast was great too!

Great hotel with excellent breakfast, nice room and attentive staff. Relaxing in the hot tub after really days hiking or several activities was a blessing.

The room is in a separate building from the main building where the lobby, breakfast room and bar are located. Our room was spacious and very clean. It looked toward the water and had a panoramic view of the distant cliffs. The buffet breakfast was excellent and the breakfast room was bright and cheerful.

His location reminds me of a launch you would find in the mountain and or ski resort. The staff was a bit cold and a little bit arrogant. Maybe they need a little more training with regards to personable attitude. The room itself was cute and cozy. The bedding was good. They don't have the best blackout curtains. Parking is convenient to each of the room buildings. There's a complex of about 9 buildings where the rooms are located. The sauna and hot tub are a little bit scary and in disrepair. They have this tiny gem. That again looks a little dodgy But they have breakfast. Buffet is complementary, and it's spectacular. Everything and in that dining hall was top notch.

We appreciated the late checkout.

Excellent buffet with so many tasty appetizers. Good breakfast as well. Beautifully decorated hotel, nice rooms but the world’s smallest bathroom. Sink was literally in the shower. Would stay there again
