We only stayed the one night as we were getting an early flight at the airport. Our room was clean but very dated with most things needing replacement. Parking was limited. The lady on reception was lovely and very helpful.

The water in the pool seemed a bit dirty to me and there was some dirt on the bottom of the pool.

Room was disgusting, bugs crawling all over the walls. The bathroom had a lot of limescale build up and mould. The carpet was covered in stains. The bed was rock solid but the base was wobbly. The curtains would let is so much light it’s pretty pointless having such a light thin fabric for a curtain. I told staff I was checking out because the room was so awful, the said they would refund me but no refund has been given back. I was in that room less than an hour. The shower water would run freezing cold to scolding hot even after having the water running for nearly 10 minutes. The entire building of the copper beach stank of booze and BO. I would never stay here again, I would have rather of slept in my car!

Staff were lovely and helpful. Evening entertainment was brilliant and a great laugh with bingo and Brian Harris. Breakfast was good and parking as well. Pool lets itself down as there were swimming lessons going on and badly behaved children with a loud swimming teacher. Not at all relaxing and uncomfortable with parents sitting around watching

I initially booked a single room go myself. There were a couple of issues with it, but after explaining what the issues were to the reception staff, she apologised and immediately upgraded my room. The room I was finally given, happy to say, was clean and very comfortable. I had a full English breakfast and the staff were very courteous and polite. So all in all, I was very happy with my stay! I believe that if you are not happy with your room, report it immediately! The Hotel don't want bad reviews And 9/10 of them will sort it out immediately once they know what is wrong. Happy customer, Happy hotel!!!

Chair in room not fit for purpose, all cushioning on it had worn away, & had loose armrest. I was woken up at 2.45 am by other resident or someone that stays there all the time, banging doors & noisy in the corridor, it went on for a while. I left feeling very tired for my drive home. I stay there often, as it is convenient for me to visit a local family member.

About the clean room some spiderwebs Not big deal, the rest all cleaned. About the Staff everyone 5 🌟 It's a fresh breakfast, but insufficient food for the price to pay. About the parking all good have plenty space.

Another great stay at the Laguna, when visiting family in Poole we always look to stay at the Laguna. The staff have always been helpful and attentive , check-in is quick and fuss free The rooms are always clean, if you're looking for faults yes you will probably find them but then again you can find faults in a 5 star room if you look close enough. We have never had any issues with rooms and we've stayed here many times. The hotel is in a very good location within in walking distance of Bournemouth town centre, walk down through the gardens and 10 minutes you're there, couple more minutes you're sat on the beach and it's also close to Poole, and of course the surrounding areas including Jurassic coast just a short drive away. They have entertainment often and an onsight bar. The swimming pool is open daily, only been in it once and it is very clean. If you're staying in Bournemouth you can't rely on the weather always being perfect so beach not always an option so a hotel with a pool is a massive bonus. One other big plus is free parking. If you're looking for a wallet friendly hotel whether it be for 1 night or a week or more away I highly recommend The Laguna in Bournemouth.
