It’s very old looking building and old design water in bathroom to clean your face is dirty had bugs flys and cobwebs everywhere it has a dampy smell in the beds even in the rooms it’s not worth the money plus in a heatwave should leave the pool open till at least 10pm wasn’t happy at all

Location excellent. Breakfast- reasonable Staff - good. Room - clean.

Room is very outdated needs a good refurb. Bed was comfy. But the hotel itelf was very noisy and couldn't really relax.

All hotel we saw needs completely updating and a refit. Bed too small for two and taxi rank just outside meant it was noisy till very late. Sink not in tiny shower room. We actually enjoyed our stay though as weather thankfully good, there was parking and our breakfast was cooked well and fresh and friendly staff.

The property was really very nice. The rooms and bathroom were clean and the staff members were very friendly. Highly recommended

Hotel needs a massive face lift . Very dated . Food mice but stingy with breakfast. Disappointed we could not finish watching the England game and told to go to dinner. We are on holiday !

It was my second time staying at Laguna hotel, and once again it was a great experience. The location is excellent, just a 15-minute walk from the beach. The pleasant walk, swimming pool, and free parking are real advantages in this area. I'm pretty sure we'll be back again soon!

Clean room, own shower and toilet. Clean bedding each day and towels. Price was good too. Will come again (the fan was ours)

This hotel gets a lot of bad reviews but for a budget hotel it was great for a 2 night stay with my daughter for a cheerleading competition. The room and hotel decor is dated but this did not affect our stay. The beds were comfortable and clean, towels were provided and tea and coffee making facilities were available in the room. The WiFi worked well and the room also had a small TV which we used a little. The bathroom was clean but there were a few cracked tiles and the tap was quite difficult to turn off. The hotel door locked with an actual key and staying in an annexe building it also had a lock to the main building door which made us feel safe. It was really quiet and the grounds were very well kept. We were able to park our car for the whole weekend for free at the hotel which was a huge bonus and it was a short walk through some pretty gardens into town and around 20 mins walk to the beach. As we had a lot of dance gear with us we did get an uber a couple of times which was £7. There is a COOP and premier shop a 5 min walk away if you need anything. The hotel has a bar and lovely outdoor patio area. We did not have chance to use the pool but it looked great and lots of people were using it. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. For the price you can’t expect the Ritz, we had a pleasant stay and would return.

The hotel was very dated, needs to be refurbished or updated. The room was full of flies, dust, no air con or fans in the room. The bathroom was very small, like a bedsit style room. Our room was on the ground floor so was inane to leave the windows open as overlooked the carpark where people were parking and coaches. The TV did not work and had a wire coming out of the wall, dont think it was live but not the point. Smelled very musky, the swimming pool was in an outhouse style building, cut my foot on the bottom of the pool. I understand it was cheap to stay but if I could find another hotel to stay in I would've.

Very poor sound proofing between rooms and when you have guests 'from hell'!!!! in the next room shouting, screaming and swearing all night long. do not expect to get any slleep - NEVER AGAIN!!! and dont expect an apology from the hotel, message sent but no reply.

Obviously this is a more old fashioned hotel but the pool was lovely and the room was spacious and clean although with a strong, funny smell. Unfortunately we were there on the hottest day of the year and the rooms were extremely hot with no fans. We couldn’t get all of the windows open - I think one was jammed shut. Staff were generally helpful and friendly although I had to constantly ask the waitress for basic things like butter, marmalade etc at breakfast as they weren’t brought to us. The other waitresses/waiters did seem much friendlier/more efficient. Having said that it was very hot for the staff to have to work in.
