The hotel is a little old but kept well and very clean. It's also in great location with nice staff. Paid parking is cheap if you're driving.

It doesn’t seem like this hotel has been updated in the last 30 years or so. Service is friendly and location is good but the rooms are tiny and outdated.

This was a good hotel with traditional Japanese rooms and Western style rooms. We stayed in the traditional Japanese room and it was clean and comfortable if you're used to the floor futon. The hotel is located in a small traditional Japanese town. There's not that much to do unless you're there to explore the countryside.

Friendly staff, even though some did not speak much English, it was perfect. It's conveniently near to the Aomori station, about 2 blocks. We visited in winter and it was snowing a lot, but there was no problem getting there. About a 5 minute walk. The room was perfectly okay, it just had a slightly weird smell.

Best Japanese breakfast in 25 day holiday. Scallops Sukiyaki and scallops deep fried. Good variety of dishes includes toast for the unadventurous. Seniors can travel!

Staff was really nice. Room is small (business hotel) but provided all basic amenities and clean and comfortable enough for two persons for one night. We chose it to be close to the Aomori train station for an early train ride out the next morning. Just 10 minute walk away. Staff was very kind to take our bags and placed them in our room at 11am before 300pm check in. We found a good sushi place just around the corner from the hotel (locals and Japanese tourists) and it is an easy walk from the hotel to the fish market, the Aomori products center (ASPAM) and other local sights. Also the main shopping street that stretches many blocks with stores and restaurants is also just steps away. And breakfast on the top floor with a view of the bay and cable bridge and an excellent selection of Japanese and Western foods (not yucky bagels or worse as in US business grade hotels) was a real bonus too. Great way to start the day.

Very good service at front desk, with helpful staff who recommended excellent nearby sushi and local food establishments. Aomori is a small town. During non-festival periods, very laid back and assuming. They made visitors feel welcome, and we never had any trouble walking to famous sights nearby: ASPAM visitor center, Hakkoda Maru ferry museum, Wa Rasse Nebuta Museum. Eating establishments were not crowded, and you can get great sushi and seafood in this city, especially the local specialty, scallops harvested from bay nearby. It's a very easy train ride to the historical town of Hirosaki, known for its castle and cherry blossom viewing in late April.

Just a few minutes walk to the train / bus station and some attractions. A typical small hotel room in Japan.

Comfortable and very clean, and easy walk (even in winter) from the railway station. The hotel is an ideal overnight stay while changing trains. Would stay here again.

As with many medium to low range Japanese hotels, this is very basic. It'll get you a night's sleep. I felt the room was smoky even though it was a "no smoking room". For some reason the window was taped shut so there was no way to get fresh air in. If you're a strict non-smoker, best avoid. In fairness, the price was very low even with scarce availability.
