Quick trip, wonderful stay! The check-in service was 10/10—they even helped us secure a same-night dinner reservation. Dinner was incredible and truly the highlight of our visit!

Property itself was beautiful but it’s so isolated, not any eating places nearby or places to walk, must use a car which is a big downer for me Additionally, I don’t think this hotel was worth the price. It doesn’t feel 4 star in experience, there’s no ac, and you have to leave the door open, the cleaning ladies did a rush job (which doesn’t feel nice or special) there’s no room service should you wish to sleep in and have breakfast All in all it was good but I wouldn’t go back

This Villa/hotel was everything you need when staying in amazing Tuscany. The rooms were very spacious and romantic. The hotel grounds are ample and very well kept, it looks like a beautiful canvas. The front desk lady named Marina was amazing with the check in process and very helpful and informative. The only issue we had was the food Wich was not to our liking but that’s expected as they don’t have a real dedicated fully operational restaurant so it was fine. There is plenty of options around in Radda and Chianti wich should be explored. Would definitely recommend and come back.

Isolated location (on bumpy gravel road) was less than ideal. The pool was uncomfortably cold on a 25 degree day Long dark hair was found on bathroom floor. Large, pretty comfortable bed. Could do with some updates to address tired ambiance. Needed: written directions for TV controller and more channels, and how to contact front desk from room.

Our room was on the first floor and felt almost basement like, we didn't have a view because we were basically eye level with the ground outside. So that was a disappointment but the room was huge and looked like the pictures online. The facilities were as expected with a gorgeous pool and great views. The restaurant was also very tasty. I think we were just a little disappointed by where our room was situated and would have liked a room with more of a view.

Villa Campomaggio is absolutely amazing. Located in perfect area close to 3 must-see Chianti towns (Radda, Greve, Gaoli) the resort is quaint and perfectly Tuscan (i.e. exactly what you want your place in Tuscany to look like). The communication prior to arrival was excellent and the directions to get there were spot on. The grounds and the stone buildings are impeccable and exactly what you want in a Tuscan Estate. The Team members at Campomaggio were extremely helpful with any and all needs you had. We rented a Deluxe Suite (1 Bedroom) for a very reasonable rate and the room was HUGE with King Bed, spa bedroom, chair and table to work. sofa to relax on - couldn't ask for more and great 4 nights. The bar and breakfast were lovely and affordable and my wife had an outstanding deep tissue massage at the spa. The pool was perfect and there are so many "cute" little areas to sit - relax - enjoy a bottle of wine or an Aperol Spritz. We will 100% come back to Villa Campomaggio next year!!

Amazing property…Beautiful area! Staff was friendly. Spa was great! Swinging shower door was not ideal. It had to be positioned just right to keep water from splashing out. Couldn’t get bath jets to work…we didn’t bother asking for help. Room was beautiful. Clean and comfortable.

This hotel is NOT 4 star! We had hoped the hotel would be as magnificent as their photos online. Yes, the grounds and the view were beautiful - but everything else was pretty average. To start with the rooms are very dated, very dark and have extremely poor lighting. The room was very warm and stuffy and the staff told us that it is controlled for the whole building - it was set at 24.5!!! They suggested we open a window. Well, there were no fly screens and anyone could have climbed into our room - so that was not an option. The WIFI was very weak, but the staff insisted that they had never had a complaint about it. That is impossible. The dining room looked spectacular until we sat on the chairs only to discover they were plastic - so weird. The dinner was really very bad - our only bad meal in all of Italy. When we checked in, we were told we could get a croissant and coffee for 5 euros in the morning. However they were not able to serve us because we didn’t place our order the night before. How is this 4 star service. There were no bellboys in sight. In fact it seems the front desk person did everything by themselves. You can not drive your car up to the entrance so you have to CARRY your own luggage quite a distance (up hill and cobblestone driveway) - bags could not be rolled and heels are not an option. With this sort of entrance - a bell boy should be on duty at the bottom of the driveway at all times. Overall a very poor experience.

This was an incredibly beautiful property with an amazing staff. It is so peaceful and serene. Only a few things irritated us. They need a qualified bartender and a bell man. The cobble stone hill made it difficult to hall luggage from the gravel parking lot. With that being said, I would do it over again. It was one of my most favorite locations.
