Excellent service and relaxing

Gorgeous property brimming with greenery, flowers and wildlife! Loved the bungalow style rooms so much better than a high rise style resort! Drinks were good, food was mostly ok, the buffet got a little tedious by the end of our stay. The beach was too choppy for most of our trip but the pool was sparkling perfect so that made up for it. The pool was big enough that even when it was busiest midday it never felt crowded. We had an amazing time and can’t wait to go back!

This is a great relaxing resort. The service was excellent. We only ate at the buffet and it was good...not great but there are a lot of different choices. Our room was a premium(basic). It was clean with plenty of room for two people. The layout of the resort adds to the laid back atmosphere. The beach was nice but understand it is on a reef. Water shoes definitely help. It was also an easy walk to the pier to get in the water from the steps. Skip the lunch buffet and get hand made tacos you won't be sorry. The entertainment staff puts a lot of effort into the nightly shows. The two rock and roll shows definitely stood out for us.

Iberostar Waves Cozumel was amazing. My wife and I celebrated our anniversary for 4 nights there. We loved everything about it: the room, amenities, staff, food, drinks, spa, beach, shows, snorkeling, and the tropical island feel with beautiful plants and animals. We want to go back someday!

We had the best week in Cozumel. The property was perfect for adults and teenagers. It was very clean, everyone was so friendly. It was beautiful. We will be back!

My husband and I stayed for six nights. We had a wonderful time! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The pool and the beach are beautiful! Remember to wear swim shoes because it is quite rocky off the beach, but there is a pier that you stepped down to get into the water. There’s beautiful fish swimming all around! The only thing I would say is the rooms are a little outdated, but that did not stop us from having a wonderful time!

Beautiful property

We had a wonderful stay at Iberostar Cozumel. It was our first time at the resort and all the amenities, staff, shows, food were wonderful. Our king size room was beautiful and just a couple steps to the pier and pool. The food was delicious, I did recall someone mentioning it was blah and no flavor and I couldn't disagree more. The spices were flavorful from the breakfast buffet to all the specialty restaurants. It was wonderful having everything there including their help with excursions. The staff were amazing. The shows were wonderful, our favorite was the fire show. I was at first apprehensive on their filter water, but they prove me wrong. I love how sustainable everything is. It's definitely a peaceful location and having nature all around was amazing. I highly suggest this resort!

The food is the best on the whole island!

It was the most amazing experience. It completely surpassed my expectations. If you like nature this is the place. You are surrounded by jungle. This was the absolute best choice I could have made. I will definitely be coming back.

We had a great time at Iberostar in Cozumel. The property was clean and all the food service people were very accommodating. Not all of the on site restaurants were open and the newly renovated buffet facility reopened the day before we left. Most all of the food served at the buffet was pretty good however there were some of the choices that shouldn't have been set again after two or three days. Our room was kept clean and our towels and bed sheets were changed out at least once during our week stay. The purified water stations were easily accessed.

The landscape was beautiful. It had a very tropical feel to it. The food was good and the rooms were big and clean. The sand on beach was great but it is all rocks getting into the water. You can walk to the pier to get into the water but I didn’t want to walk that far. That was the only thing I was disappointed with on this trip. We were there 12 days. Very nice overall!

The property is beautiful. The beach isn’t the prettiest- lots of seaweed - but snorkeling off the pier is very easy. The food was disappointing; really just average.
