Really nice place with a very comfy bed and well located, the owners have put many little touches that really show they think about what people may need.

Was accused of not entering the correct passcode for the front door by a rude proprietor when they had got my phone number wrong by 1 digit and had sent to passcode to the wrong phone number. After much deliberation and realising their mistake eventually they did apologise but the hostile attitude adopted by the proprietor was not helpful. I had thought at the time of the booking that the breakfast was included in the price. The proprietor was adament that breakfast was not included and continued with her hostile attitude and just gave us the keys for our room insisting if we wanted breakfast we had to pay for it and must let them know by 6pm. After a very tiring day we had no choice but tocomply. The hot breakfast next day was very average served on a cold plate

The self-check in was very helpful with clear directions and the room was very nice. Would stay there again.

Our room was lovely and it had a nice window overlooking the street. We saw staff/host coming in every now and then and they were fantastic and nice. I had by accident broken a glass of wine and told the host that I'd pay for it however he said that all is good! Will definitely come back!

So unexpected to have booked a single room and to be given a family suite. So comfortable. Everything spotless.

Room service was non existent. Bins were not emptied, wet towels were not replaced, despite a sign asking them to be placed in the shower if required. Tea/coffee etc were not replenished. Complimentary snacks, two bags of non brand crisps did not look inviting. We have used them before but this will be the last time.

Everything was clean, staff had already gone home but check in was easy. Very quiet and cozy. It was a bit inconvenient to have to turn switch on for the ice maker but figured it out and made ice for a cocktail.

Nice guesthouse in Ayr, good for a short break. Very clean. Tea-making facilities available in the room.

It was a lovely room with bath. Friendly welcome A lots of little treats in the room. A lovely place to rest after wandering around Ayr.

The room size is bit small, other than that it’s very nice place to stay
