Clean rooms, lovely staff, nice food in the bar, nice brekkie. One gripe was the music was so insanely loud in the bar we couldn't bear to stay there even to finish our drinks - totally uncalled for in a hotel bar (nightclub level volume)

We came for my husband’s birthday with our one year old son. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were brilliant. My son has wheat allergies and the chef serving breakfast noticed me pick up a GF cereal for him, and then offered other GF items including bread and sausages. The next morning when we came down for breakfast, as soon as she saw us she went and made him some more sausages! It was the nicest hotel breakfast we have had in ages. My husband who doesn’t usually eat or enjoy breakfast particularly loved it. The hotel and rooms were lovely, and the restaurant attached to hotel served delicious food and also catered to his milk and wheat allergies! The beds in the rooms were also super comfortable. We would usually have a different go to hotel in Letterkenny, but this is definitely our new hotel now!

Room was spotless clean, the bed was so comfy.

Room was very tired looking, bits of trim had fallen off, a ceiling panel looked as if it could fall, missing remote control in bedroom and TV could not be used and then very noisey plumbing , was woken by rattling pipes at 5.30am when mentioned it at check out I was informed that maintenance would be asked to check look into it, I would not recommend a say here

Just a shame there was a fire alarm when we were in bed being a false alert Glad the alarms work though Room was lovely warm and comfy Very clean Staff very welcoming and friendly Will definitely come back

Mcgettigans is a lovely Hotel in the Centre of Letterkenny.The hotel is very clean,the staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms are comfortable and clean.The breakfast here is great .We will definately come back here . I would highly recommend this hotel.

Lovely restaurant. Good Guinness. Food excellent. Plenty of televisions to watch sports.

Nice

Room was not ready we went away came back in an hour and it was still not ready they wanted us to wait longer for the room. also the dinning area for breakfast does not look great. Very old fashioned rough around the edges and needs to be modernized. the breakfast buffet looked like something from the 70's

Our hotel room was gorgeous, big comfy bed, lovely sofa in the room. Very spacious and clean. Shower was amazing. Staff were lovely. Left our do not disturb sign on door and the housekeeping still left us clean towels and toilet roll etc. car parking on first day was very busy, had to park on nearby street but was able to get one early the next day - most likely due to summer sessions on in town. Staff were very helpful. Would definitely stay in this hotel again, great location!
