This is a charming hotel that embodies the Provençial spirit in every way. The hotel’s owners, who are a lovely couple, check you in and serve you breakfast. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-appointed. The air conditioning can be loud but at least it works. The beds were quite comfortable. The one thing to be aware of is that the hotel is located at a main intersection. If you have the windows open when large trucks come through, it can be loud. The sound proofing is good, so as long as you close the windows, it is quite.

The young couple who have taken over this hotel are trying really hard and have many plans. They are very helpful as regards dining round about as they only provide breakfast. The hotel is very stylish and beds extremely comfortable

This was an off season week end so we had a fantastic room and service for a very reasonable price. The hotel manager was most helpful with restaurant bookings and useful tips (bicycle ride, places to visit etc.). Lovely village and great hotel

The bed, location, hospitality.

I wanted to stay in a small town after hours of motorway driving and Visan is lovely. The hotel is in a beautiful old building very sympathetically restored and well furnished. I was travelling with a dog which was no problem for the hotel. As the hotel restaurant was closed the manager directed me to a nearby cafe which was excellent. This hotel was also extremely good value.

Attractive and comfortable hotel with a good restaurant (the restaurant is closed on Mondays). Most of the staff only spoke French and made no effort to be helpful or understood, except for the wonderful and useful manager who was only there briefly on our last day. The hotel is right by the road with lots of noisy lorries and our room got quite dusty. Visan is a tiny place with a couple of small cafes which are often shut, like many of the local towns.

Lovely hotel - room really nicely laid out and very comfortable. Breakfast great and in a lovely room. Although there is no car park, parking in the village is easy. Nice village to wander round and good location for getting to some of the northern and western parts of Provence. No hesitation recommending this hotel.

It was an excellent hotel with AC in rooms that helped on the hot nights. Very clean. Staff did not speak english but it didn't matter, they were overly welcoming and helpful. Great restaurant for supper and breakfast. Nice old town above the hotel. Parking is sometimes hard to find but this is normal for Europe. It was a great experience.

Located in Visan, a beautiful and typical village of the Provence, it is the convenient location to go wine testing in the Cote du Rhone area. A nice and well maintained hotel with friendly personnel.

Le séjour à l'hôtel était en effet excellent. Un hôtelier très sympathique qui, avec sa famille, gère avec une véritable passion et un grand professionnalisme cet hôtel charmant situé dans un endroit vraiment magnifique. Les chambres (très bien climatisées) sont aménagées avec goût, les lits excellents et d'une propreté et d'un entretien exemplaires. J'ai reçu un excellent conseil pour un restaurant à proximité. Cet hôtel est pour moi un véritable tuyau - à recommander absolument et à tous points de vue !!!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Midi! The village of Visan is absolutely charming, especially the old town with its narrow streets and authentic atmosphere. The hotel itself has been beautifully renovated in a traditional style, perfectly preserving its historic character while offering modern comfort. The hosts are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and eager to make sure every guest feels at home. A true gem — highly recommended for anyone visiting this lovely part of Provence!
