Really lovely view of the beach, and thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the balcony having a drink after a day of driving. Unfortunately the experience was dampened (a lot) by getting lectured by the receptionist upon arrival that "my card had declined". Although I repeatedly explained that this is because I keep my card locked to online payments for security reasons (which is why I always select the "pay at property" option), he continued to bring it up, requiring me to suggest that if property policy is to receive payment prior, maybe they need to update their settings with the third party; not my responsibility to get lectured because they have allowed payment terms that don't meet their policies.
