Having booked four-star hotels before through Hotels.com, we were looking forward to a pleasant stay at Helios Hotel. The hotel is conveniently located about an hour from Milan by public transport, which was also one of the reasons we chose it. The lobby looked quite nice and luxurious, and the receptionist was welcoming. The disappointment began when we entered our room. It was spacious and clean, but everything felt aged and unkempt. The bathroom had clearly seen better days, and some features had been replaced with the cheapest options on the market — for example, an old, rusty sink tap more suited to a public toilet than a four-star hotel. The shower tap was missing a knob and was very tricky to use. You had to flush the toilet several times to make the water stop running, and some of the electric sockets were loose or not working at all. The blind on one of the windows didn’t work, letting the sun in very early in the morning. Definitely, as someone else had said, at least one star too many. On the positive side, the staff were friendly, the beds were comfortable (although there was no duvet, just a thin sheet), and the breakfast was delicious, with plenty of sweet and savoury options.

Decent stay but didn’t get 4 star vibes. Air conditioning wasn’t great.

U feel unwelcome. They make u feel like what do u need and get out. THEY TRAPPED U INSIDE THE HOTEL if u dont pay city taxes like prisoners. They very low techy and the room feels sauna heater. They tell u pretty much suck up the temperature cuz there the only one with control. U feel like there monitoring u inside the room.

Thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, we were centrally located to some local restaurants but it is a bit out of the main area. The room was very comfortable and modern. I would recommend a stay at this hotel.

The staff was very helpful and accommodating throughout my whole stay. It’s a 13 min bus ride from the train station Area.

The staff and the service was really great. Friendly staff and breakfast was good. The night receptionists was very friendy and helpful a credit to the hotel.

From the moment we arrived, Alywas amazing, very professional, courteous, friendly and went out of his way to make sure we were confortable and happy. GREAT GUY.

The staff were very helpful and spoke very good English which we appreciated. The location of the property wasn't what we wanted but it would sit you if you need a place to park a car and preferred to drive everywhere. Limited places nearby to eat. Monza town 25 minute walk away. Restaurant on main floor felt like a fishbowl.
