Nice enough hotel. It is in the middle of an industrial estate though so unless you have a car, it’s a difficult location to be in. There is a bus service but it stops early in the evening and doesn’t run on Sundays so you’re stuck either paying for taxis or doing a lot of walking back to the hotel every day. If we went to Carcassonne again, we would stay in a better location.

Superb position of room as travelling with dog's. Lovely reception staff and the room was large and very clean. Large and secure car parking area.

Pool minute and closed, near the car park…not inviting. Hotel in an industrial complex. Cold eggs and sausages at breakfast. I usually LOVE Ibis hotels…this one was not great…

Hotel is close to the highway. A perfect layover location if you are going to Spain.

Didnt get round to using the swimming pool but this budget hotel has a small but nice outdoor one! Room was great for a family of four - breakfast was excellent.

Everything was good, as expected. Breakfast was a good buffet. Location was a little out of the centre.

The bed was very comfortable. Location was excellent. Smallish room but very clean and the bathroom well stocked.

Very comfortable place to rest and explore the Carcassonne castle while driving from Bordeaux to the Mediterranean side. Everything is clean, comfortable, great breakfast.

Wonderful place - - very clean and convenient. Stayed one night in route to the Spanish coast (Cadequez and Lloret de Mar). Close to old medieval town, restaurants, and grocery store. Great breakfast and very friendly staff.

We found the food served in the restaurant to be of a very high standard despite the budget nature of this hotel. The food was as good, if not better than any other restaurants we visited whilst in Carcassonne

We wanted to see Carcassonne but concerned about staying within the walls. The Ibis was a great choice 5 mins from the car park and short walk to the entrance. The hotel was easy to find with sat nav but might not be so without as it is just on business estate. Rooms were comfortable and clean with great shower. We enjoyed our evening meal and service was quick and attentive. Good value recommend.

Good location, not far from the castle. Clean,efficient. Reasonable rates. We had previously been in Ibis hotels, but in Northern Europe. This one seemed to be newer, and the room seemed more cramped. We were travelling with a single friend, and he said that he thought that the room was fine for a single person, but that ours was more difficult to move about in because there were two persons. True. The space between the TV and the bed was tight, and we could not both pass at the same time.
