Jess and the team were very welcoming as usual the place was spotless. Thank God for the air-conditioning as it was really hot outside. Only thing I would say that could do with a update is the mini fridge just outdated. We loved or stay and will be back again best place in liverpool. Also thanks to the team for the lovely card and chocolate it went down a treat.

Great location in short walking distance to the City Centre. Very friendly staff. Very clean location.

Well located, and safe (need pass key for the front door to open), staff were friendly. What I appreciated was having free drinks served to guests in the front area. I had a friend visit, so it was a nice touch for us both. Nearby there is a large Tesco's as well as other shops. Only down side is sometimes at night you can hear music from nearby venues, but they normally stop by midnight. Room was super clean, and the beams in the ceiling was a nice touch. The shampoo, body wash, and conditioner supplied was a nice touch (my previous hotel in Edinburgh which cost a lot more only had one bottle that was both shampoo and body wash!).

Staff were good . Room was very small , must smaller than expected . Too expensive for such a small room that was poorly furnished . Won’t stay there again

It would be nice to have water in the room.

We did not know what to expect from this hotel. We were looking for alow cost one night stay in Liverpool and found this on the site. The price and location suited us and so we booked and we are so happy with our choice. The staff are wonderful, really cheerful and helpful. Our room was spotlessly clean and had everything that we needed. The addition of the 'kitchenette' was interesting and really useful. The bathroom was clean and the range of toiletries was excellent. The bed was comfortable and we had a brilliant night's sleep. We would recommend 'The Resident' to anyone visiting Liverpool.

My 2nd stay at this hotel and again a very good trip. The hotel is well positioned wether you are a tourist sightseeing or a party animal , close to bars and Bold Street for countless eateries but retains the peacefulness inside the hotel. Will always consider staying here when the price is competitive with others around town. My stay was for the football and although the hotel was too busy for early check in they are always happy to store your bags till later in the day. Thanks

Fabulous stay everything you need, lovely little kitchen area and nice toiletries. Only thing we needed to bring was toothbrush and toothpaste. Comfy bed, friendly, helpful staff. Location fabulous. Really enjoyed the stay.

Fantastic hotel with very pleasant and helpful staff. Not too far from Lime Street station and plenty of bars and restaurants in the area. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Excellent stay at The Resident very clean room with attention to detail of everything you would need for a visit. All staff extremely friendly and efficient, would definitely stay again, highly recommended.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay here. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Our small double room had everything we needed including the coffee machine, fridge, sink and microwave. The toiletries from Molton Brown were a nice touch too. Great central location. We would definitely return

The room was amazing air conditioning was spot on it had a microwave a fridge/freezer a coffee machine ironing board with iron the bed was really comfy and big and a nice view aswell

This hotel was fabulous in every way! It was in a perfect convenient location. The staff was attentive and fabulous before I ever checked in and even better when I arrived! The beds are comfortable. The amenities are plentiful! Excellent!

Room was lovely. As before, staff mixed. Algrid and other day staff excellent, but night staff didn't bother to greet me. Very quiet. Clean and comfortable. Great location.

Superb

A convenient location near the center of Liverpool. The room was very clean but small, which didn’t matter to me as a single traveler but for two it could be an issue. There’s no parking, which seems a common occurrence with many hotels in the UK. But they did have a parking arrangement and a discount available at a close by parking garage. All in all the stay was pleasant and again as a single traveler would stay there again
