We walked in and noticed the run down condition of the lobby. The receptionist was excited to tell us our room had a bathroom. That alarmed us. We then went up the elevator which got stuck between floors. After finally getting to the room we were overtaken by the very strong smell of mildew and mothballs and the description on expedia definitely misrepresented the room and hotel. We immediately left and went back to reception. Her solution was yo offer to give us a spray. We asked to speak to the manager to cancel and he was conveniently unavailable. I tried yo cancel and she said she did not know how to. She gave me the managers phone number and took mine. I have still mot heard from him 3 days later. I have submitted a claim to Expedia. We had to find a new hotel. This place was extremely misrepresented in both description and photos. Think twice!

The room was clean, toiletries provided. The view from the dining room is stuning. The man in charge of the breakfast and the hotel in the morning is amazing. He went the extra mile to make us comfortable and taken care of. He is amazing. The stay was great. 5 stars, A+ My husband forgot his crossbody bag in the hotel with documents and money. He took care of the bag and nothing was missing from it. Definitele will stay again when we visit the area.

We loved the sea views from our room and the breakfast terrace! The lobby is a deco beauty and the staff were so friendly and helpful with our transportation. We loved it and the breakfast options were delicious and plentiful. Truly a gem!

We took a long ride from the train station, it is located about 45 minutes away and it was worth the distance. We wished we could have stayed longer and enjoyed the amazing views.

Our room and the breakfast area looked out onto the water. So peaceful! Breakfast was fantastic. There’s no coffee in the room, but can be obtained from the breakfast buffet and brought to your room.

When we arrived after midnight, elevator was turned off. Staff Could not turn on. There was a big smell on the first room that they provided us in the washroom. Room Safe was not also working. they put us up in another room and safe was also not working. Room was rundown, but not smelly.

The staff was welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was included, and offered many tasty choices, plus a fabulous view of the sea!! Shopping, restaurants, a grocery store, a pharmacy, and the ferry were all within a short walking distance. The only negative about the Hotel Belvedere is the air conditioning! It barely functions! Our room was too warm, and the staff could not get it any cooler, so we asked for a fan, which they graciously provided. Granted, we did arrive just as a heat wave hit. Other than that, we loved the place!

Beautiful deco hotel with sea views. Just open your window and grab a glass of wine and watch the sun set on the water. Loved this village and the hotel.
