Choose this hotel for the parking, breakfast was good, along with the staff, bedroom was clean,but due to staff problems the room was not cleaned on the first night.

Spacious room and bathroom, but spa is run down and service is non existent. Breakfast not great. But comfortable stay nonetheless

Beautiful hotel with great accommodations. The room was spacious, very clean and confortable. The breakfast was small but satisfying. I would definitely stay there again.

Stayed here in November 2024 and liked it so much rebooked for April 2025. Upon arrival after a 4 hour drive we were told at check in that 1 week before they have decided to close the restaurant permanently and there was also no bar or no drinks in the mini bar. None of which was advised to us. Whilst it’s a lovely building it’s being neglected with its lack of amenities for some reason.

A great place for an overnight on route north or south. Outside of La Rochelle with excellent on site parking and a beautiful building. The restaurant was top quality.

I was travelling with two small dogs and a car full of stuff for my house rental. The hotel was safe and the garden was fabulous for the dogs. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful. I had a great room and the restaurant at the hotel was excellent. All in all it was a great overnight stay and I may very well go back there on my return.

Friendly staff clean room and big car park in case you need to park a motor home or van ideal for the airport or the city

Very nice hotel and great parking. Beautiful building. Only slight let down was lack of staff especially this morning myself and other guests playing hunt the receptionist to check out. Eventually had to leave a note and request email to follow with bill.

Bedroom was very cold. Heating/air conditioning did not operate. The receptionist very kindly gave me a heater she was using. Convenient location for La Rochelle. Restaurant responded well to my requirements for gluten-free food (Coeliac disease so not a lifestyle choice)

Beautiful building and very helpful reception staff, spa was a little tired with a broken steam room and very tired shower area but pool a good size and pleasantly warm ! Grounds need a little TLC but could be absolutely stunning. Only down side was that it was a 10 minute taxi ride into La Rochelle and both taxi's and Ubers were hard to come by due to the Boat Show !

Beautiful building, lovely room however signs of age. Lovely big bed and huge shower. Very nice staff. Nice pool and steam room but again showing signs of age. Free parking, location not far from shops and town. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here.

The scenery was awesome. Looks like one of the castle from the old times. Cozy, friendly staff. Recommended.
