Hotel is in perfect location on a beautiful street where you will find all the lovely restaurants . It is very typically French looking with a beautiful garden at the back with small tables and chairs. My double room which overlooked the garden was so clean, the bathroom had everything I needed for a pleasant 2 night stay. There are no coffee/tea making facilities but water machine on first floor to fill the bottle/decanter . Very comfy bed. Large T.V on wall which I did not use. Fab shower Hairdryer provided. There is air conditioning but the window did open so I just did that when needed. On the 3rd floor there is a small area terrace, and the view of the fortress from there is awesome. You can take lots of great pics I was sent a code to access the hotel incase I arrived later than 20.30hrs. The owners are so friendly and helpful, recommending restaurants and ordering return transport to airport. I did take airport shuttle when I arrived in Carcassonne. Only 6 euros, about 20mins to hotel. I had not booked breakfast on first morning, but as I was leaving early on my departure day,7.45 I booked breakfast which I was able to eat at 7.15am . Breakfast was a buffet,so much choice,I would recommend anyone to have the breakfast. It was delicious. Cannot fault the hotel. It was such good value for the price I paid. Do not stay anywhere else . The fortress was only 10 mins walk to get there. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay for 2 nights, thankyou Hotel Pont Vieux

This family-run hotel is clean and pleasant. The rooftop terrace with the view of La Cite is a very pleasant place to spend evening time. It was about a fifteen minute mostly uphill walk to La Cite, shorter and easier coming back down. There are several good restaurants very near the hotel, and more up in La Cite. We are truly happy we chose this hotel.

We stay at the hotel very much. The owners and operators, Jean-Michel and Catherine, were very warm and welcoming. Our room was clean and comfortable with a lovely view of the courtyard and garden below. The breakfast buffet was amazing. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel is in a great location just outside the old city. Many excellent places to eat close by and the hotel has an its own shop with a great selection of wines, beers and local food specialties including beautiful cheeses, and other charcuterie items. It was quiet and peaceful at night. There was a nice spot on the 3rd floor where one can sit outside and watch as the light changes on the old city above on the hill, and get some nice photos.

What a little gem this place is! Clean, a spacious room with working A/C and a superb view, a very comfortable bed, lovely, English speaking staff who are very helpful in recommending restaurants which are mostly nearby. Very nicely situated near the old bridge (as per the name) and a short walk to the castle. The hotel also owns a little shop with a great choice of wines and other drinks, cold meats and cheeses and local products and is located next to reception. The hotel offers breakfast at 13 euros per person. There is no lift at the hotel so bear this in mind when booking and request a lower floor room. Don't forget, there is local tourist tax payable when you settle the bill.

It's about everything close from the hotel , but if you go by car you will have to find a way to leave the car outside the restricted area and it is very difficult to find parking, when you go inside already at the hotel it is very functional and at the same time very difficult to park on the property .

Great boutique hotel. Room was small but clean. The toiletries smell so good!!! Staff was very pleasant and it’s a short walk to the walled city. The best part is the night view of the city from the roof top terrace. Stunning!!!!!

The hotel is in the perfect location for a stay in Carcassonne. Rooms are spotlessly clean, bathroom is modern with great shower. We were able to see the castle from our bedroom window, a stunning view. We had breakfast in the hotel every day. There are lots of bars and restaurants on the road where the hotel is. Lovely relaxing garden at the back. 10/10 will definitely stay here again.

A room w a view (14) and twin beds loads of space custom Velvet curtains matching chair and blanket really elegant. Nespresso coffee machine and liquid creamers nice touch. Bath tub was welcome site w my recent fall and shower w rain and hand held also. Hot strong water plush towels. 5 * place. But the managing couple made my 2 nights w their care attention to my sudden immobility and knee injury. Even the stairs were doable but they offered to change me to downstairs from. Breakfast included boiled eggs meat cheese etc well worth the 13E. Be back for sure.
