We had such a delightful stay at this lovely hotel - a beautiful setting, extremely comfortable rooms and public spaces, and exceptionally attentive, helpful, and friendly staff. We felt warmly welcomed and cared for from the moment of arrival to our departure. Breakfast was also delicious, and the sound of the river rushing by outside our window and the dining room was heavenly. A very special place, very special people, and surely one of the one of the loveliest hotels in the area.

Extraordinarily beautiful. Staff were courteous and accommodating. Food was excellent. A perfect place for relaxing but also exploring the surrounding area filled with history.

My stay was delightful and the staff was above and beyond anything my expectations.

Wonderful historical place. As part of Relais & Chateaux, Le Moulin de l'Abbaye definitely meets outstanding standards of history (we stayed in a 13th century building) and luxury. We also had dinner at the Michelin star restaurant and had a wonderful experience. Highly recommend it.

The reception was fantastic. They greets us like family. The view from our room was so beautiful, it brought me to tears. We had a problem with drainage in our shower and it was fixed immediately. The breakfast, served on the terrace overlooking the river, was scrumptious and they even had gluten free bread for me.

Unfortunately the restaurant was closed, but they recommended one at the city. Very good! Ricardo was perfectly!

Rooms are simple but well appointed. Common area are fabulous!

This is a beautiful and charming hotel in a beautiful and charming town. The location of the hotel on the river is just stunning. The staff are friendly and helpful and the restaurant first class. Didn’t bother us but the river is loud.

The hotel is lovely, the setting is beautiful and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The food is excellent but it is expensive. Drinks on the terrace overlooking the river is wonderful.

Perfect stay in Brantome. Such a lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. Our wonderful room overlooked the river. We enjoyed the town and its stunning architecture and quaint streets. Can't wait to come back for another visit.

This hotel is heaven on earth. The staff is wonderful, the rooms are comfortable and wonderfully decorated, and the restaurant is unbelievable. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this hotel, and I hope to visit again in the future.

Beautiful setting! Loved this small riverside tiwn! Reasurant was closed but very nice buffet breakfast with seating in a gorgeous setting (Lovely July morning) Our room was in an unattached building and upstairs but a very comforabke room.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Brantome
