Michael on the front desk was very friendly, approachable and went above and beyond to help us. Great place.

This place as been revamped to a high standard. The rooms are very nice with top quality fixtures and fittings. We both slept really well and there was no noise to wake us even though we were close by the motorway. Plenty of free parking and charging our electric car overnight was only £15 for a full charge from empty. The staff were really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was help-yourself continental for under £9 and there was a reasonable choice of good quality things on offer. Would definitely choose this well placed hotel again and recommend this competitively priced chain again

Friendly staff, very convenient & comfortable bed.

Had a very comfortable stay. Beds really comfy. Staff really good especially Fiona she was very helpful. One little thing shower was too cold and also could do with recycling bins . It was lovely and clean . Have stayed before and would definitely stay again. Durham a lovely city.

Everything was great

Great free parking. You just give your car registration when you check in. Good size room. I stayed in a twin accessible room for my mums benefit. We ate breakfast one morning which had sufficient continental choice and had a pizza one evening too which was very tasty. I stayed here to go to Beamish and Durham.

Cannot fault our stay at super 8. Rooms clean with everything you would need for a short stay. Beds comfortable with lots of space. Breakfast and bar well stocked. Will stay again, as excellent base when visiting family in the area with great amenities around as well

Was just an okay stay.Only issue was at check in where I felt it was not dealt with professionally.

Rooms are very noisy, but otherwise clean, spacious and cosy.
