Bungalows and area are a bit dated and old, but we thought it was part of the charm. Beer and beverages at the resort were expensive. 190 baht for a Chang. Water also expensive I recommend taking a walk or a ride left from the lobby exit for a while. There you will find a market that sells Chang for 60 baht and cheap water. We stocked up! There's also a cool reggae bar in the same direction with good food and atmosphere. Walk 25 - 30 mins in the same direction and you will find the crystal bay beach. Very nice but crowded. We preferred the beach in the resort. It has one rocky area with rough sand perfect for snorkeling, when not waves are too rough. There's also a more normal beach with better sand. Staff are the friendliest of all the hotels and resorts we visited during our 3 week stay. We booked a fishing tour with the reception which turned out bad the reception staff returned our money and promptly removed all the flyers for this specific tour. Restaurant at the resort was also very good!
