Room was lovely, clean and thoughtful touches. The public areas bar dining room lovely comfortable seating. Highly recommend as location to the town is ideal easy walk.

Our stay at the Cedar was excellent. Jonathan and Caroline were very warm and welcoming. The breakfast was great and the room was very comfortable.

My wife and I stayed for a romantic weekend. Ticked every box. Lovely staff who were strong on attention to detail. Great selection for breakfast and dinner was very nice. Stayed in the Coniston room. Very well appointed and comfortable. Happy to report that there were no weird smells that kept us awake! Great location too. Lovely grounds and very peaceful yet only a 5 min walk to centre of Windermere. Great boutique hotel all round. Highly recommend.

Both Caroline and Jon are outstanding hosts. A really professional but personal feel about the whole place. Nice easy location for a walk into Windermere and not too long if you want to get down to the lake if you're feeling like a longer walk. Intimate lounge and classic dining room. The smoked haddock mousseline must be the highlight of the menu. Simply outstanding.
