Entrance bit musty and scratchy but inside of hotel and rooms good, our room was surprisingly good

The property is nice and the areas around are worth exploring.The rooms were decent with decent air conditioning. The breakfast options were good with fruits and toast.

Great room!

Basic accommodation in the heart of Montreal at a reasonable price. Tiny but clean room with a basic breakfast included. Be aware that you need to walk up from the street to reception and again to the room.

The pictures posted on Expedia does not meet the reality and conditions of the hotel. The hotel is extremely outdated, unclean and has no elevators. If you have any sort of physical disability, I would encourage not staying at the hotel. I would encourage others to boom other hotels. However, if you enjoy staying in hostels then you may like this “hotel”

No elevators, was left on my own to get my stuff up many flights of steep stairs, someone tried to steal my bag just outside of the hotel. I felt so unsafe that I left.

Hotel had a weird smell, our bed had so many stains (it was disgusting). had a homeless person laying down at the main door, we told the guy working the front desk and he seemed more bothered by us telling him.

The room was not as big as it seems in the picture. Breakfast was awful. bad pillows and when we asked for extra pillows, was refused service

The hotel was old. But maintenance could be improved, some parts of things in room were broken, such as power sockets, curtain racks that needed replacing after too long and old. etc.

Hotel staff was very nice and cooperative. Breakfast was good Room was okay with working air conditioning. Room was smelly, like garbage shoot smell. we bought air freshener for room and then it was okay for stay.

The lights were insufficient, no towels or bed sheet were changed ever in 2 days that we were there. Also no staff asked us about room service, housekeeping or cleaning. The only plus point was the location. Other than that everything was poor

Great location, not a super clean room. Sheets and towels were kind of dirty. But it gets the job done. Probably wouldn't go back but didn't have any major problems. Continental breakfast wasn't great. Plenty of places to eat around though so not a huge problem

Location, location, location! We stayed in a "superior" room and enjoyed the character of the hardwood floors and brick walls of this quirky, nicely renovated building - not at all the corporate commercial feel, yet comfortable and clean. Walk out the front door and you are practically in the Place Des Arts, pedestrian only. We parked in the Complex Desjardins, so convenient, and traveled light with just backpacks. This is not at all accessible to those who cannot climb stairs. But for sightseers on a budget we found it very pleasant!

The room was NOT what was in the photos. We made plans around the mini kitchen and it wasn't cheap or convenient to make those changes.
