Lovely breakfast and all meals were fab!

An unusual concept for hotel but a good one. Lovely to park right outside own room. Very comfortable, hot water and an amazing breakfast with the best scrambled eggs ever had in a hotel.

Great room, very clean. Courteous staff, from reception to the bar and restaurant. Being able to park right outside the room was fantastic. Would stay again. Recommended.

Lovely hotel

Clean, comfortable, warm room, a bit of updating would make it fautless. Restaurant modern and tastefully decorated, food was delicious and generous sized portions, the apple and plum crumble was a delight. Special mention to Claire our waitress who took excellent care of us.

A good 3 nights stay despite the cold weather. The Premier room was just as expected from the pictures, comfortable, clean and warm, once the radiator was turned on, and quiet. Only downside was the noisy cold water tap and toilet refill. The breakfast was really nice, with plenty of choice, and the evening meals also good, helped by the friendly and helpful staff. Glad we didn't stay in the centre of the busy Durham, as the drive to the free Park & Ride bus was easy.

Large, clean rooms, super quiet at night; comfy bed, slightly tired decor but well-equipped. Excellent staff, always available, very friendly and helpful. Excellent restaurant and great breakfast.

The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was great.

The room was spacious clean and lots of little extras like slippers bathrobes toothbrush and paste in little pack. Staff were very helpful friendly and courteous. Food was delicious I had slow braised beef stew and dumplings would highly recommend it. Would definitely stay again when in that area.

Room was fantastic. Having the car right outside our patio doors to the room really suited us due to my partners limited mobility.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff, fantastic food

We were put into a pet friendly room not as nice as the photos. We felt the room wasn’t cleaned properly because it’s a pet friendly room. The dining staff were good, and friendly. Our dog was warmly welcomed by the dining staff as well and we didn’t mind eating breakfast and dinner in the small dining dog friendly area in the bar.
