5 star for us ! So good location, literally 10 minutes walking from the high street, 20 minutes walking from the Acropolis. I felt very safe as a lone woman with a young child. Very clean, looks like newly refurbished. Lovely 24 hours reception. Breakfast are basic but very good ! * Would be helpful a dairy alternative milk * I would recommend this 100 % and would come back if I’m in Athens again. Ps: cleaning ladies are amazing !! Every day nice bed and fresh towels. Thank you so much for your hard work !

This older hotel is located a block off the main drag downtown, but very safe. You can walk comfortably to every major point downtown (Acropolis, Agora, the wonderful open air market which has great inexpensive lunches, all the shopping districts, Syntagma Square, the National Gardens, etc.). It has a good free breakfast and the staff is very kind and helpful.

The only thing we disliked was all their fried eggs they had prepared for breakfasts on both days 9th & 10 Aug 25' were very rubbery, you could not even break the egg yolk. Fried eggs shouId be fluffy in touch & soft yolk. I dont know what the cook in the kitchen does to prepare these eggs but something needs to be changed so to avoid throwing it away. So at the end I opted to have hard boiled eggs.

Economy Hotel was a great place to stay for our current visit to Athens. Breakfast included was OK but could have offered a few more hot options, but overall it was very nice. Access to transportation was great as the hop on hop off bus was across the street. Our room was clean and comfortable and we had very good WiFi access. The front desk staff was amazing and they would always be there to help if needed. Would highly recommend Economy Hotel as a great place to stay as it offers quality service for a budget price.

Pleasantly surprised with this hotel, grear value and nice (and very clean) room. The breakfast was basic but there are numerous eateries in the area if you want variety. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. A grear option for exploring the city centre.

A bit set back from the main road, very clean and comfortable hotel for a night in Athens and just 10 minute walk to Syntagma square. Super close to several metro stops. Nice breakfast selection :)

When we checked in, the guy was super helpful (I wish I remembered his name). He told us how to get to the places we mentioned, and gave some recommendatiins as well. I liked how it was close to Monastariki square.

This was good for a quick stay in Athènes. Close to the metro and includes breakfast. We didn’t have any problem even if the area didn’t look super good. Not issues at night

We only stayed in Athens for 1.5 days (2 nights) so it had everything we needed. It was walking distance to the "city center" ~15-20 minutes so you have to be able to walk that amount on top of a day of sightseeing. Theres a bunch of food places and shops along the way to pick up food/drinks. Basic breakfast was provided so that helped. The area was much more quiet compared to the touristy area but it seemed safe.

Exactly as I expected from previous reviews. Although the immediate area was a little seedy it was a 10 - 15 minute walk to the main tourist areas. The room had recently been painted and although it was quite dated it was fine. The only problem was that the bathroom door did not shut properly. The staff were very helpful as many have said and the breakfast was nothing special but for the price of the hotel it was adequate. Overall great value for money and I would recommend.

You will be surprised with the very clean rooms and highly professional and nice staff. When we booked and with the price and reviews about the area we were going on a budget. But believe me this hotel changes bed sheets and towels on a daily basis and they are very clean. The breakfast is basic but very convenient to someone willing to be in a clean place and go discover the city all day. Rooms are medium size and not small. As for the reception staff they are really nice and help you with all your questions and sometimes asked us if we needed to know how and where to go. As for the neighborhood we felt it is safe to wonder around day and night. And the hotel is very close to a hop on hop off bus station...as for the location, we did almost everything by feet...so close to omonia and monastiraki and 2 min from the wlking street that leeds you to anafiotika (around 25 min walking)...this place vs budget vs service is highly recommended

Good location, comfortable beds, excellent front desk staff (friendly and helpful), and very nice breakfast. The room would have benefited from an update and there were several broken/loose fixtures in the room and bathroom. Overall, however, it was an excellent value and I would definitely stay there again.
