When booking I didn't realise the hotel was right next to the ticket office to Wookey Hole Caves, what a bonus. Checking in was easy and the staff were very informative. After a busy day we decided to have dinner in the hotel restaurant. You do have to reserve in advance but the staff went the extra mile and fitted us in, we were very thankful due to having an exhausted and hungry child. We couldn't fault the meal, we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The family room was a good size, including two single beds and a double, all comfortable for firmer beds. The room was clean and had everything we needed. We didn't hear any other guests, I believe it was busy due to the school holidays. We had breakfast at the hotel, you also need to pre book. Its self service, there was lots to choose from, freshly cooked full English, cereals, fruit, croissants etc. We filled up for the day. We found all the staff to be polite, helpful and as I said previously, they went the extra mile. How refreshing to come across good customer service. Thank you.

Lovely hotel, room spacious, clean and cool with a powerful fan supplied. Games room really enjoyed by our grandchildren, could do with a change machine though. Restaurant served lovely buffet breakfast and good selection of evening meals. Seemed a bit disorganised but it was busy most evenings. Definitely stay here again as very convenient for Wookey Hole, Cheddar and Weston Super Mare.

The pull out bed was extremely uncomfortable. Not a proper mattress. Ended up having to top and tail in the other bed as no one could stick it. Stay pleasant otherwise.

What a lovely little trip to Wookey Hole. Really comfortable and convenient hotel for a day out to the caves. Staying at the hotel allowed for an easy day out with the children. Nice sized room with comfortable beds for 2 adults and 2 children.

A fridge in room to keep drinks cool in hot weather would be helpful

Good value for money. Room well maintained, bathroom quite basic, breakfast buffet was reasonable. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Games room was a bit disappointing for the older children.

Enjoyed my 2 week stay here in a nice quiet village

We checked in late friday afternoon and the male and female on the check-in desk were excellent. They were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was perfect. We also prebooked breakfast, which again was excellent value, great quality and plentiful. The hotel is central for all of the nearby attractions. We will return here again and would highly recommend.

We have stayed here many times it is ideally located for our purpose of visiting Wells Glastonbury and Street We will definitely be returning as soon as we can.

Great family weekend location

Good location if you want to visit the caves. The room was ok for 3 stars.

This was perfect for an overnight stay. Clean, 24 hour reception, comfortable bed. Helpful staff. Car park was free and right outside. No issues at all. Very good value.

Forced to give card details at reception, and I’m quoting here..”in case I broke something or caused damage” Talk about being the insulted! Very poor menu. I’ll not be back.

Only on a work trip, so didn’t really get to see much. Room was lovely and comfortable, staff very friendly and helpful. Thank you team Wookey 😊

Lovely location with Wooky Holes on the doorstep of the Hotel. Room was basic but clean and had everything you'd want fir an overnight stay. Lovely grounds for a walk. Only negative was bath taps had hot water, but the shower had only had cold water. The mixer thermostat was obviously faulty. Talking to other guests, this seemed to be a common fault as others said their shower only had cold water too.
