Hotel close by the A1 motorway staff very friendly competetive rates which also included breakfast

Brilliant staff, good food and comfortable room. Huge, tasty breakfast, cooked to order. Wine in restaurant a bit pricey. Due to staff shortages, last orders on Sunday were at 20:30 and they had run out of roasts by 19:00; the pub also closed at 21:30 on the Monday night. Great location, about 20/25 mins pleasant walk into St Neots, where you can get a bus to Cambridge for £2.50 (45 mins).

I parked right outside my room - literally 10 feet away from the door, so parking was ideal! Laura was extremely helpful and very professional (other than the Pineapple juice - but we had words about that 😂). The room itself was very well presented and clean. Breakfast was lovely, and again, Laura was at hand to ensure a speedy and efficient service, also making sure the air temperature was ok for us. I don't usually write reviews, but this place deserves a positive mention.

Room was clean well appointed. Staff are great friendly & approachable happy to help. Parking was good plenty of parking. The date i was staying. Bar & restaurant area nice good atmosphere. Food was good if a little pricey. My only issue i was there for business reasons. Needed to do some work back in the room. Couldn't do that as internet/wiffi was poor. Not enough bandwidth. Also couldn't stream on my laptop kept buffering.

Adam and the staff were amazing and very welcoming, food was amazing. This say was perfect as only 9 room on ground floor and the village is beautiful. We will defiantly stay again.

All the staff were friendly and professional. I have food allergies and this was taken care of with knowledge and care. Very convenient for travel to major roads. Room was very comfortable and well planned. We would not hesitate to stay again!

Only complaint i would say would be lighting in the room could be better when applying makeup. But other than that wonderful stay.

The hotel was very comfortable, with a warm feeling. It had a relaxed atmosphere, rather than corporate that you get at some of the big chains

Rooms are very well looked after, clean and all you need. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Hotel is lovely and everything in it is top quality, from the bed linen to the soap and the food. The breakfast was not as good as the last time we were here as there was only one waiter and there was a large group as well as other guests. Sausages were lukewarm and they ran out of eggs, however I think the circumstances affected the service so I didn’t complain and it wouldn’t put me off staying here again. The meal the night before was lovely as was Amy our server. There was no hot water in our room when we arrived but this was remedied by the time we’d had dinner. My advice would be to check if any large groups have a booking before staying as I think this hotel is too small to cope with a large group and other guests and do it well!

I was a little unsure about my booking due to the hotel’s close proximity to the A1. How wrong I was! The accommodation at the Eaton Oak is modern and room was well presented. Nice bathroom with bath and shower over. Definitely no noise from the A1 Again, I had a fixed opinion in my mind that the food would be the standard fayre of this type of establishment but, again, how wrong I was! My starter of beetroot with whipped feta was delicious (I will recreate it at home) and the steak and ale pie was good although the tenderstem was tepid. The staff were delightful throughout my stay but there appeared to only be one waitress on in the evening which, whilst not her fault, meant long waiting times and not much attention. Breakfast was very good but, again, slow. It was disappointing that breakfast service only starts at 8am which, for those needing to get off to work, is a little too late. The Eaton Oak is definitely a place I would return to on a future occasion.

Lovely place to stay, the rooms were modern but not minimalist, bedding was great quality, lovely bright room. Service was friendly and efficient. We ate in the restaurant for dinner, excellent service, food fantastic. Breakfast in the conservatory was lovely. Would definitely choose the Eaton Oak to stay in if in the area again.
