The room we booked was not available. If not for my persistence & help of the clerk we would have been stuck in a room too small

Nancy at the front desk was amazing. I also had a problem with the booking but Cross at the front desk was able to get it all worked out. The front desk staff is amazing and will work to solve all problems.

Surprised to learn no breakfast was served at this hotel. Staff was friendly and very helpful.

We loved it for an overnight while driving. Very comfortable and not crapped all overall excellent stay

Room smelled like old grease being cooked. Lights outside on side walk way were burned out.

We booked a different location in town, but arrived to find several key issues that were very important to us & why we booked there. Hotels.com & local property management allowed us to stay at a sister property literally 500 yards away that was perfect! Great room, mini kitchen we weren’t expecting, pool was great, quiet, all the things you hope for during a hotel stay. Thanks for saving our 4th of July!

This was my 2nd time staying at this place. My 1st visit was Summer 2023. That visit was perfect but my recent visit was a major deal-breaker. Checking in didn’t go well at 3:30pm. The clerk was very stern with the way she spoke to me. Instead of welcoming me to the hotel I was attacked with comments relating to the $250 smoking policy and the construction going on. When I got to my room I noticed a lot of banging and construction work going on. More than I expected. I was frustrated cause I just drove 10 hours straight from Taos NM to Decatur. I was wanting to kick back and relax. But instead I got to hear BANG BANG BANG from hammers near my room. I walked down to the lobby at 3:45pm. I asked the clerk when the construction would stop. She said 6pm. So I went out for diner to buy some time but when I returned at 6:30pm the construction was still going on. I am a retired military vet and I have never experienced like this before. I am still frustrated with the hotel cause I paid good $$ for a nice quiet room. I also wanted to make note that this hotel is on an island. No restaurants are walking distance. You will need a car to get anything to eat. I will gladly remove this review if I am comp’d a free room for my inconvenience. Its sad cause I really like this hotel chain. I plan to stay at Candlewood in Amarillo in a few weeks but hopefully I will have a better experience

Loved the friendliness of the staff as I checked in and while going and coming. The room was very clean and had no issues.

The property was clean and the staff was very helpful. The beds were a little hard but over all it was nice

I really wanted to give 5 stars for this hotel because i loved the amenities and the full kitchenette. My TV remote would not work, somtimes my door key stopped working, and my room although clean had an odd smell enough so that i had to open the window..i think it was what they used to clean with. I saw other people also at the front desk complaining about their TV remote as well. I suggest not using such strong smelling cleaning supplies, and at least weekly checks of the remotes by staff.

Very clean and friendly staff and they have coffee ready by 6am for the guests traveling through.

TV in the room was going out and the air conditioner went out

They did not have a room ready. They had to go clean one while I waited. Took about 25 minutes to get checked in. They were very rude. Room was dirty, stained carpet, badly stained. There was pee and toilet paper in the toilet. Obviously it hadn’t been cleaned. Water to the toilet was shut off. Shower water pressure was terrible. Water was spraying out everywhere except where it should have been. I would never stay there again or recommend it to anyone ever !!

Able to make last minute reservations. Clean room; wonderful to have a full refrigerator! Friendly staff checking in and out. Really enjoyed dinner at Sweetie Pies Ribeyes!

Nothing special stick out of mind..

Easy to get to. Lots of parking

This is a long term hotel, which I missed when booking it, not a huge big deal. It has a small kitchenette in it This hotel is pretty shabby and out dated. The chair in our room had the "pleather" pulling off of it. I've seen nicer furniture at garage sales. Bed was decent and it was clean. Front staff was friendly
