The hotel is clean, comfortable, and the rooms are also spacious, even though the hotel is old, it is quite well maintained.

The views and photo spots are great! The sunsets around the pool are incredibly relaxing and peaceful, the views from the rooms are also beautiful, and the food is delicious. The hotel's atmosphere is calm and quiet, perfect for a brief escape from the hustle and bustle of Surabaya. The location is also strategic, easy to get to the city center and malls. I'm considering this hotel for my parents' graduation, as the photo spots are attractive and perfect.

Good place to stay, spacious room, very clean

The hotel is generally nice, full of Balinese charm. There's a small garden in the center, lush with greenery, and a swimming pool and gym on the third floor. The staff are also very friendly, proactively greeting and opening doors for guests. The room was also quite large, as described, at 40 square meters. The noise from motorcycles and the mosque was almost inaudible, making it quite small. The bedding was a little worn, but within acceptable limits, and it was cleaned promptly every day. The hotel is located in the heart of Surabaya, 900 meters from the Tunjungan Plaza shopping mall, within walking distance. The Submarine Museum and the Zheng He Mosque are also just a few kilometers away.

Even though it is an old hotel, it is well maintained. There is a lot of menu for breakfast.

Very comfortable. Spacious room, good breakfast, good and educated employees, lovely lounge, we always stay here for staycation with family.

Check-in was smooth and fast. (They only require a 500,000 IDR deposit.) The building is old but still well-maintained. Only the bathroom needs improvement. Breakfast was so-so. The only thing that needs improvement is the egg station. There are certainly a lot of people here, but there's no ready-to-eat food available, resulting in long lines.

I had a very pleasant stay at Bumi Surabaya City Resort. Location: Perfectly located in the city center with easy access to everything. The surroundings are green and peaceful, which makes it feel like a relaxing escape even though it’s right in the middle of the city. Service & Facilities: The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The check-in/check-out process was smooth, and the hotel offers plenty of family-friendly and activity options. Wi-Fi connection was stable as well. Room Comfort: The room was spacious and had a nice ambiance, making it very comfortable to rest. Cleanliness: Everything was well-maintained—the bedroom, bathroom, and overall hotel area were spotless. Overall, it was a good experience and I’d definitely recommend this hotel for both leisure and business stays in Surabaya.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Mr. Nyoman was nice and very welcoming when I arrived at the hotel and seemed lost because it is the first time I stayed there. The hotel ambience was good. The room was spacious, having a bath tub is a plus for me. The hotel location is strategic, near TP. Will be staying here again next time I visit Surabaya.

The service from all staff is very helpful and friendly, from the lobby and all areas of the hotel are very clean.

parking staff at the gate is not acommodating fast to a difficulty. Not until I call the receptionist.

Hotel service is extremely good. All staffs are very friendly and helpful. The room is so spacious, with complete amenities, including a bathtub. Unfortunately, one of our towels had a streak of blood on it. Very disgusting, unsanitary, and it posed a health hazard. It was immediately replaced when we asked for a replacement, though.

As usual, the hotel's service is 5-star standard. Check-in was easy, late checkout was also allowed, the food was delicious and varied, and the swimming pool was very large. There was also a small pool for the kids, and a spare small pool, presumably for a jacuzzi. I had a complaint to management regarding the cleanliness of my room. I was in room 0958. I deliberately didn't post it here as an objective measure in my assessment. Hopefully, management will resolve my issue in room 0958.

have stayed here a couple of times and each time have never disappointed. the only minus of this place is that it is quite the walk from the room to the lobby when ordering food from online services. However everything else has always been perfect

The best 5 stars hotel in Surabaya City Centre. Staff are so friendly from the first we arrived in hotel, always smile and warmest greetings. Lovely smells since you entered the hotel. The room is big spacious with big window. The bathroom also clean and spacious. Breakfast was so delicious with so many varieties from western food or Indonesian local food. The location is just perfect, easy access to big shopping mall in Surabaya. We loved to stay here, our second home while we are visiting Surabaya. Thank you Bumi Surabaya Resort!
