Nice hotel.

Gedateerde kamer, maar schoon en een heerlijk bed, en lekker koele kamer.

Kamers beetje vergane glorie.

Had a good stay considering the reason I was there. I came out to Europe to say goodbye to a family friend, who is dying. I was driving his parents and their care taker back and fourth to Amsterdam, to see him. They were staying with a friend between the hotel and Amsterdam, so the Fletcher was a good location to stay. The staff were wonderful. The kitchen was closing by the time I arrived, but the Chef made a meal for me anyway. A wonderful young man(Barry?), that worked in the breakfast buffet in the morning was so kind to show me how to program the GPS, and put in the address I needed. He didn't have to do any of this, he was a life saver! He asked how I was doing on the mornings he was working, he made me feel a little less sad. I was terrified to come al this way on my own, but I felt comfortable at the Fletcher. The breakfast was very good, sometimes that was the only real meal I would have. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

We were in Heiloo to visit our godson and stayed at this hotel. While it is an older hotel, the accommodations were fine and breakfast was included and very nicely done. Staff was very accommodating.

During one of my business trips I needed last minutes reservation for 8 nights and could not get the room in nearby Hotels. Room is quite large and the bed is comfortable but the amenity are scarce. All stores around Heiloo are closing earlier so if you work long hours and come late you would like to take shower and have something to drink, but there is nothing in your room. If you want coffee or tea you have to go to restaurant, but you can not even dry your hair because there is no dryer either! Not to mention that lighting is terrible. In the bathroom is so dark that is impossible to shave. Rain gutters are so noisy that i could not sleep and unfortunately it rains quite often in Holand .

The hotel rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff were really helpful and friendly and the food in the restaurant was great. It is a bit of a walk from the main town/station (about 20 - 30 mins) but generally provides a good central location for exploring the wider area. Overall, good value for money, definitely would recommend and will use again

If you ever need to go to Heiloo, the Golden Tulip is the place to be. Nice people, warm atmosphere, good food and a small bar. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. Free internet in the lobby was a nice perk.

Reception staff are extremely helpful and polite. Room cleaning and towel changes were poor. Administration on the hotel bill was really poor and needed three people to sort it out when we had only to pay for bike hire and tourist tax. Bike hire is expensive for a country extolling its cycle culture. The surrounding contryside is fantastic, especially the extensive dunes area about 5k away. This is super for cycling and walking though bird life is a little sparse. We did not eat at the hotel as the surroundings were only functional with little choice on menu price. Local curry house is handy but pricey. Supermarkets are close by in Limmen and Heiloo. Would recommend Alkmaar cheese market on Friday and the area is good for windmill watchers although they are nearly all the same polder molen.

The staff were all so friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed 2 fabulous dinners in the lovely restaurant. The room and bathroom were very small but quiet.

Die Zimmer in Hotel waren schon nicht sauber als wir angekommen sind, außer das Bett das war sauber. Der Boden wurde so geputzt als hätte der der Raum keine Ecken. Unterm Bett lag noch der Sand von letztem Jahr. Der Heizkörper in Bad war auch nicht sauber. Der Balkon war genau über einer Müllmulde und auch sehr sehr schmutzig. Als ich mich dann beschwerte sagte mir die Dame an der Rezeption Wir putzen nur wenn es nötig ist. Was Positives das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und gut.

Het was een fijn hotel met vriendelijke mensen; goed restaurant en fijn terras. Kamer was ruim. We hadden ook een terras, maar door de struiken geen zicht op wat erachter was. En de vloerbedekking is ook wel aan vernieuwing toe. Maar we hebben echt genoten en kunnen dit hotel ook aanbevelen!

Estuvimos muy comodos, habitación espaciosa y el baño también. Y para visitar el pais nos fue bien la ubicación,(viajamos en moto)

Zimmer waren dreckig. Staubfäden an mehreren Stellen. Teppichboden dreckig und wurde nie gesaugt während unseres Aufenthaltes. Rotzflecken an den Spiegeln. Wir hatten im Zimmer nur eine am Eingang funktionierende Steckdose. Das Personal war jedoch freundlich.

Staat van de accommodatie is wat verouderd en het matras is toe aan vervanging. Verder erg genoten van het ontbijt en de rust in het hotel. Vriendelijk personeel.

Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Fijn uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet. Kamers zijn wel wat vergane glorie.

Goed was het eten. Ook tevreden over het personeel. Slapen: het bed was voor mij iets te zacht. Aandachtspunt: de naam van het hotel is niet goed te zien vanuit de richting Castricum. Zodoende ben ik er eerst voorbij gereden.
