This was the most amazing hotel… staff were so friendly and helpful. They could not have been more friendly or helpful. The grounds were so charming and not too manicured but beautifully kept and tidy. The birdsong all day was just delightful. The pool area was so clean & felt luxurious. The smell through the hotel was gorgeous. Not the cheapest but you definitely get what you pay for and it was all worth it! Only slight negative was the lack of plug sockets but given the property is over 300 years old it’s forgivable and was still very manageable! And the AC was amazing which I did not expect given the age of the property! We would return in a heartbeat!! And we got engaged here so would love to return!

Beautiful property, gorgeous room always cleaned and towels changed etc Only problem was no drawers for any clothes and a very small wardrobe space for such a large room

Upgraded to one of the renovated rooms, very spacious and tastefully decorated. The property itself was absolutely stunning, very "white lotus esq" Great pool!! Outdoor restaurant, and outdoor cocktail bar 👌👌

We had a really lovely stay for 2 nights at this hotel. We stayed in an executive junior suite, it was the renovated room in the photos. The pool was very big and the grounds of the hotel are beautiful. Had a nice dinner at the restaurant and great cocktails at the bar. The hotel had an event on each night which was a bit noisy at times but it didn’t bother us at all, was fun to see what was going on. There’s a nice little casual seafood restaurant a short walk away if you wanted a change from the hotel. Breakfast omelette was good. The hotel doesn’t offer complementary drinking water (other than one bottle on arrival) so recommend stocking up before you arrive (or a short drive to local supermarket in Giardini Naxos). The beach is not a pretty sandy beach, we visited once but it was so painful under foot we didn’t return. Would highly recommend the hotel for a relaxing couple of nights.

Beautiful property and grounds and highly maintained. Staff very helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay - only criticism, food availability was somewhat limited if you didn’t want to eat in the main restaurant at night.

Really beautiful property. The pool was a nice perk. The room was very spacious. I would suggest maybe a robe and slippers for guest. I have no complaints though. The staff were very friendly, food tasted wonderful and it was only maybe 15 minutes from Taormina.

Secluded oasis of peace and calm. Oozing with character. V well maintained. Ideally need rental car to fully appreciated the area. Plenty of local restaurant choices 10 mins drive. 25 mins to Taormina. Nice room (junior suite), plenty of space. Bit quirky re electrical points location. Soundproofing not 100% but was never a problem. Excellent bathroom. Breakfast average. Staff professional and attentive.

Beautiful, charming, romantic, inviting. Absolutely lovely breakfast with freshly baked croissants and fresh pressed orange juice in a beautiful setting. Every detail in the room is romantic and exquisite.

Wonderful hotel, in a wonderful location. The hotel is magical, and the Staff were outstanding. Everything about our room was perfect and the breakfast was delicious. The food from the restaurant wasn't to our liking, however this didn't affect our stay. I would recommend having a car to explore as there is nothing much within walking distance, however the hotel is so beautiful you may not want to go anywhere else!

Absolutely loved our stay here! The Castello San Marco really is charming! The property is beautiful, the room was extremely spacious and comfortable, the breakfast was fantastic, and we can't say enough about how lovely the staff was! Alexandra and Flavia were so wonderful and helpful with everything we asked for. We would stay there again any time!

Amazing

Absolutely charming - the perfect combination of modern resort amenities with old world ambience and sophistication. Only thing I would change is the menu at the restaurant. Would have ate there every night if the food wasn’t all so gourmet. Instead had to find other places in town for something more casual and traditional

Our room was very dated and dark windows were dirty and no internet connection in room. Feel the hotel could do with updating and disappointing not to have daily water in room. My wife’s Amberjack fish was overcooked and inedible there was no offer of a reduction in the total cost. Staff however were excellent just feel for a 4 star hotel the accommodation could be improved.

Castello San Marco is beautiful, peaceful and relaxing.

Easily the top highlight of our sicily trip. Besides the magnificent site and beach nearby, big thanks to the hotel and restaurant team for making our stay and couple anniversary extra special! We enjoyed every minute of it. Will definitely come back next time we visit sicily!!
