Our stay was absolutely delightful. The location, right by the serene lake and surrounded by lush greenery, provided a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The house itself was cozy and well-maintained, blending rustic charm with modern amenities. We especially loved starting our mornings on the deck with coffee, watching the sunrise over the lake. Evenings by the fireplace were equally relaxing, offering a warm and inviting ambiance. The retreat also offered plenty of outdoor activities. We enjoyed kayaking on the lake and exploring nearby nature trails, which added a touch of adventure to our otherwise tranquil stay. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway to reconnect with nature, this lakeside retreat is a hidden gem we highly recommend!

Very quiet and remote, lovely getaway as always. A lovely retreat from the busy city. A little bit cold this time of year (August) so make sure to pack some warm clothes.

The placement of adjacent accommodation still gave privacy; the quiet and the wildlife was fantastic. Felt so remote but still only 10 minutes away from restaurants or other requirements.

The Lakehouse was super clean and modern inside and it had everything you need to enjoy a relaxing stay. There was even a delicious complimentary breakfast for us on day one. I was expecting a round spa bath as per the online pictures but instead it was rectangular and the shower was inside the bath. Not what we expected but still quite nice. The Lakehouse is nestled behind two other cottages with a narrow view of the lake, framed by trees. The cottage has a balcony on the side with an old daybed and an outdoor dining set which was a tranquil place to eat breakfast amidst the bush setting. There is another separate, private deck (like the one in the photos) right on the lake’s edge but the stairs down to it (located on the other side of the neighbouring cottage) were permanently roped off. So to reach that deck you have to walk about 50m to a boat ramp and then double back along the pebble, bushy shoreline. It was a lovey deck but too hard for us to get to so we sadly didn’t use it as we had hoped to. I’d recommend this cottage for active couples looking for a quiet get away and also for those who have children as it has a nice little green yard out the front and plenty of places for them to explore. The use of the canoe was great fun! Eumarella was quiet and so relaxing. We had a really nice stay and look forward to going back there one day.

The Treetop cottage was beyond our expectations! Truely tranquil, with lake right outside our veranda and heaps of animals around the property. We loved boating in the lake and as the water level was quite low we could jump off the boat and take a walk on the sand. Spacious, lovely house, well equipped. The only thing I’d remind other guests is to bring enough insect repellent-you’ll need heaps especially if you fall asleep on the sun chair.

We stayed at the Treetops cottage. It was a cozy rustic cottage with a nice view of the lake. The staff were very friendly at check in and the welcome food/drinks package was a nice touch as was the free use of a canoe to explore the lake.

Eumarella shores always delivers a wonderful getaway from the hussle and bussle of busy city life. It is always so clean and everyone is so helpful. The extra gifts (chocolate, wine, muselli) are also lovely and much appreciated.

They have really thought about the little details and have included some little touches to make the stay more enjoyable. Wine and cheese platter. Lovely muffins, yoghurt and muesli for breakfast. Tea and Coffee and milk. Mossie sticks etc although we didn't need them.

This is our second time at Eumarella Shores and it was just as good as the last time. We stayed in a different cottage which didn't have a spa bath but was just as wonderfully decorated and the tub with the views is pretty special. The private little jetty is perfect for sunning or just enjoying the scenery. The goodies: bottle of Prosecco, cheese, olives, muffins, cereal, juices and speciality teas, dotted about in the kitchen is an excellent touch. This is a lovely spot to rest and relax especially in winter with the roaring fire.

A stunning location located right on the side of a lake. Loved how each cottage had its own private jetty with sun lounges and canoe! Bird-life was amazing and spotted kangaroos on our early morning walk. Grateful for the fireplace as evenings were very cool in June. Welcome catering pack was very welcome after a late arrival.

We stayed in the lake house called Driftwood. It exceeded our expectations. From the personal touches to the amazing location. The view was amazing. The accomodation was modern and beautiful. As a family we loved the canoe that came with the house. The loan of the fishing rod that saw our 8yr old catch his first fish. We will be back.
