Great room view amenities No breakfast to though Loved the spa in the room

Enjoyed our stay. Especially the private thermal pool on the deck.

Late check in was quick and simple with clear communication! Lovely room and Spa bath was just what was needed after a long drive!

The owners were very accommodating and super friendly. The location was perfect.

Baycrest was a great property to stay at and the facilities such as the laundry were clean (we had a previous stay in another property where the washing machine was dirty and we had to wait until we reach Taupo to do our laundry). We loved our upstairs apartment and were pleased that we were upgraded as downstairs there isn't a view. So if booking, make sure you ask for an upstairs unit otherwise you will be disappointed.

The room was a little unclean. Just dead bugs and bottle of water under bed.

Okay, but the Wi-Fi didn’t work most of the time.

We had a lovely time and this was our favourite property in New Zealand. Owners and staff were friendly, nice location that we found quite walkable. The communal pool and cabana area were lovely, we liked that they had games and books. We were very happy with this stay and would definitely recommend/stay again

The view of the lake from the property was superb. Pool was very comfortable and there were easily identified pool towels. We just found it a bit far to walk to restaurants, but room facilities made preparation of a meal easy. There was good communication from the property owners and it was easy to contact them if needed, which it wasn't.

A peaceful stay about 10 minutes walk to town along the beach. Outstanding views of the lake and sunset from our balcony. Nice heated pool too.

Nice location with a view of the lake, 2 min drive to centre of town with lots of dining options.

Great view. Really liked the layout of the apartment, the balcony, and the walk ability to nearby restaurants and the lake. The only downside is there's no elevator so you have to walk up to the second floor with your luggage, but it wasn't really a big deal. Very cute pool but not very large.

Had a lovely stay in Taupo the motel room was perfect and the tub in the garden was extra bonus.

Great to have a private geothermal hot tub at a reasonable price.

Lovely place. Our room was ready early so that was a en extra benefit. Lovely staff. I liked the flexibility with pool hours. Thank you. Would stay again here for sure.

Nice spacious accommodation. Comfortable. A bit dated & the brochure pictures make it look better than we found it. Clive to the lake but had to drive to eateries.

Excellent room. Nice view of lake. Parking was a bit tricky w tight spots.
