Fabulous hotel, staff in a beautiful area.

As two guys visiting sharing a room we had requested a twin room but when arrived we were booked into a king size double. This was unacceptable and we were given a room with bed sofa and double bed instead. Also glass door on the toilet was not acceptable. Careful request is required if a twin room is booked. They consider this to be a king size double.

We loved this hotel, close to all the amazing vineyards, including its own which you must suit. Just in the other side of the bridge to the city which has many amazing restaurants.

Room location was not good. We were definitely given the worst possible room location.

The property on first glance had a cool contemporary vibe. But the food was very limited, the room accommodations were poorly was set up. They did not have any amenities and breakfast was just average.

Perfect location for the area to visit nice restaurants. Nice view from the room. Staff very helpful. Will stay again.

Huge room, amazing view and lovely staff. The Douro valley is stunning and this hotel was a great choice for our family.

Great location for Douro valley exploration. Decoration is tacky Italian.

The staff was nice, but the night was super expensive, for a broken spa and a lot of noises from the renovations they were doing. We weren't notify of this neither compensated

The hotel is very walkable to Regua which made eating at the local restaurants and participating in wine tours easy. The hotel has incredible views. There was limited warm water and our first floor rooms had a faint odour. The bed mattresses could be better.

Hotel is just ok. Cons: Beds very uncomfortable. Rooms abnormally large and dated. Likely once was a great hotel, but no longer. Limited hot water and a damp smell. Pros: Can’t beat the view! A short walk to some great restaurants.

Amazing

The carpet was musty and in Sun evening we saw 3 couples who were also guests turned away for dinner " bc no reservations" but it was not full or over booked. Front desk recommended a terrible boat ride to another town and we saw several nicer boats docked when we boarded ours.

Good dinner and breakfast. Nice pool. Swimming cap is mandatory. Big room.
