The location is great. The property is outdated. The elevators are kind of small and during breakfast time they are just simply not enough. The bathroom was very old and I think it can be in better shape. Friendly staff.

The hotel was good and the breakfasts were excellent. The staff was very helpful, kind, and overall, amazing as they went out of their way to help us see and do the things we wanted to do. The only problems with the property were that the building is old and the bathroom smelled like sewage and our room was near the stairwell and we would hear everyone going up to breakfast just before 7:00 am.

Nice old town location with good facilities. Helpful staff, had a few really touches including kettle in the room, free cold water available and fresh coffee in the day and body lotion in the room. Also handy having the bikes free for 2 hours. Although my husband’s bike chain kept falling off. but he managed. Loved watching the sun set a few minutes walk away, over the river on the Ramblas. Only slight negatives were the mattress was not very firm and the breakfast was on the roof terrace which was lovely but only seemed to have access to this during this time. Would have been nice to have sat out late afternoon time. We used the pool and sauna, but the gym was not open until 8am. I like to workout nearer 6am and before breakfast. But got a lot of exercise walking all over the city which was what we came for after all. Would recommend as quite good value in an expensive city.

Refurbished tub shower with a jet tub that was decommissioned. The jet holes were filled with caulking!

Short ride in taxi to concert and central to any of the shopping malls. Easy walk to the port with good table service restaurants. It is an old established hotel that has been renovated and is kept clean and cared for by very attentive employees. Purpose of trip was concert and shopping mall tour. Taxis and Ubers know it.

La habitación tenía olor a sucio, de encierro, como si no hubiera sido ventilada en muchísimo tiempo. Pero aún así, el personal solicitó que firme un papel comprometiéndome a no fumar (no soy fumador!), lo cual resultó bastante irónico. El sillón tenía manchas, y la silla del escritorio tenía una pata rota. La zona es bastante insegura, intentaron robarme a 3 cuadras del hotel. Recomendaría quedarse por otra zona.

Hay que invertir en el hotel, era mucho mas hermoso hace tiempo. el desayuno sigue siendo excelente

It is the worst experience I have had in all my trips. The room was absolutely disgusting, the towels were torn, there were insects, the sheets were dirty, everything was rusty. The truth is that I would like my money back.

Paula at the front desk was charming and went above and beyond for us. This is an old building with an old building's quirks. The renovation has been done well enough but you can still see signs of use and misuse in places. Our table had a few stains and the bathroom was not immaculate but the hotel compensated with the friendliest staff, solid breakfast and good infrastructure.
