Just back from a week here and after reading reviews, we can honestly say we weren’t sure what to expect. However, we had a lovely stay, yes it’s hilly (even the complex) but this wouldn’t put us off staying again. We were fortunate to be allocated a refurbished room and were down by the pool and restaurant. The food was usually nice and we could always find something, if you’re looking for nuggets, sausages etc for lunch/dinner for kids then it’s maybe not for you. Drinks were ok and drinking from a paper cup not great but we just went with the flow. The complex was clean, staff were always friendly and put up with some abuse from customers at the bar and restaurant which was unpleasant to see. The only thing we could fault was that we wanted to rent an air con unit for the room but were advised from companies that Laguna Park 2 do not allow them even though they have provided insurance documents as required so we hired an extra fan from the gentleman as it was cheaper than the hotel. Also, the beds are on the firm side.

Could have been better: A. Apartment had no ventilation; door had to be kept open for circulation. B. No air conditioning in apartment; fan in one room was very noisy. C. Apartment wasn’t cleaned everyday. D. Bathroom and rooms were quite run down. E. No hot water around noon.

Laguna 2 was very clean throughout The apartment was also clean and comfortable.Food at restaurant was good and varied and staff were friendly and helpful.The only letdown was the condition of the resort itself and although very clean it was in dire need of a major overhaul.

The rooms were dated but very clean, and spacious for two people, and the views were amazing from some rooms. As you could see down to the pool and the sea leading to one of the other islands, but it’s not worth all inclusive as the food wasn’t always worth having, little supermarket round the corner works to be cheaper. Some staff were okay, if you needed a taxi they’d call and it’d be here within minutes. Night time bar staff were very friendly. They just didn’t communicate with one another properly and would tell guest difference answers. It’s not fully disabled friendly, but there are lifts available as it’s full of steps and steep slopes.

The staff was not very friendly. I don't expect 5 star services since it's ja 2 star hotel but basic normal customer service should be everywhere. Otherwise nothing to say. It was what I paid for.

Very basic but was only cheap so we can’t really complain. Very clean just very dated.

Beds were not good. And door to balcony were bad to open. The room need a makover ;( The clening girl was perfect and smiled all times <3 Food are wery good and the swimming pool good.

There is a lot of uphill walking in the hotel but after informing them before hand about my reduced mobility they gave us a room that reduced the uphill climb. The pool was very nice with plenty of sunbeds a bar and cafe and a baby pool. Staff were very nice and helpful. There is a free shuttle service to and from the local town area. The rooms could do with a refurb but all in all it was a cheap spur of the moment weeks holiday and we would go again.

The park was really good needs air con but otherwise ok

Mice in room ants in the beds they just charge over the odds no all inclusive wen u have to pay for slush for kids and it finished at 10 o clock never ever come back to this place shocking is not the word

The pool was lovely. We'll looked after, plenty of sun beds. The pool bar was very good with food and drinks.

Absolutely amazing resort everything about it was great

We have stayed here a few times now and can't fault it by any way shape or means. Staff very friendly and helpful. We were a bit wary this time when we arrived as my husband isn't very great at walking long distances without having to rest as he has breathing problems. We were put down by the pool which was great as wasn't too far for swim. But long way up to go out for the evening The added bonus was that there was lift as that was a great benefit so we managed just fine and had a fantastic holiday as always

The apartments need refurb, the bathroom and bedroom doors were completely broken with rotten wood at the bottom of the doo, No wifi in the room.

Great staff very helpful but property is difficult if you have any mobility issues so make sure you get rooms at the top and if you have view it is spectacular! Value for money and good size swimming pool

LP2 is a bit dated and is very much aimed at the 3 star all inc market, there is good value to be had if that's what your looking for, the rooms are basic but clean and the entertainment in the bar is better than many Ive seen, the hotel is on the side of a steep hill so you really want to try and get a room in rows B or C or it will be a bit of a climb....I've used the place twice and would do again, there are a couple of good local Restaurants, El Molino and Fagans Eating House if you fancy something a bit upmarket one night

Although it's located on top of the world the taxis are very cheap, the room very clean, didn't try the pool etc but was told it was very nice. Reception were very helpful
