Nice facilities and great location. Definitely a place for families though, not couples.

We stayed at Cala d'Or Playa last year and booked it straight away when we got home as we had loved it so much. It did not disappoint the second time round. The room was clean as was around the pool and bar/restaurang areas. The staff are friendly and work very hard and my youngest loved the entertainment crew and joined many of the activities and games. The slides are great fun for the kids and the main pool layout is great for all to enjoy. People do get io early to get the sunbeds they want but we always found we could get some. It's in a great location, just a short walk from 2 beaches and a nice stroll into Cala d'Or itself with all the bars and restaurants to choose from. The marina is beyond the town, perhaps about 20 mins walk but well worth a visit. Reception will call a taxi for you if asked. I would jighly recommend this hotel especially if you have children of primary school age.

A lovely hotel with clean rooms. It was in a great location for the beach and centre of town. There were a variety of food options too. The only negative encounter that we had was with an elderly waiter who was rude and pressurised us into buying drinks at the meal. His customer service skills were abrupt and he came across as being rude. However, all other staff were fantastic and the hotel itself was great. The kids Animation Team for the children was also brilliant.

The pool facilities were great for the family. The sunbeds could be tricky to get in a good position unless youre prepared to get up early but we always mamaged to get sunbeds somewhere so can't complain. Entertainment was great and staff and aevice really good too. You can walk to two beaches and the town/square but is located in a quiet area. Will look to visit again!

Only bad part about our stay was that we only stayed for one night. Really family orientated hotel with a superb kids pool and a great entertainment programme especially the animacion team run disney show in the evening. So much focus on the kids having a great time and would definitely head back. We stayed B&B and the breakfast options were plentiful and actual pork Sausages and back bacon were a rare treat for a brit abroad! Rooms could do with a refresh and always a pain to have two singles pushed together rather than an actual double but overall a great place to stay.

Fantastic hotel, have stayed in worse 4 star hotels. Breakfast was great with great food and fresh orange juice. Lovely personal family feel to the hotel and the rooms were amazing. Light, spacious and modern

The property was well maintained. Situated in a quiet cul de sac and location near to everything. The room was clean and spacious. The facilities were good and staff helpful and friendly. Possibly could have an area with more relaxed seating in by the tv area.

Very good stay, lovely area, lots to see and do. Reception were very helpful and the apartment was spacious and very nice to stay in. As a retired couple we did find that there were a lot of young children staying at the hotel which wasn't ideal for us! It might be helpful to know that you can have pool towels (for a returnable deposit, or 2 euros if you want them changed), saves bringing them with you.

We booked a standard apartment that we found was spacious and well maintained. Unfortunately the very large balcony didn't get any sun and overlooked the car park (113). The apartment was serviced every day. Fresh towels provided on demand. This property is very family focused, with lots for little ones to do, in and out of the pool. Not so good if you are an older couple looking for some peace and quiet around the pool.

My two friends and I had a long weekend here in September and it was perfect. Our room had recently been redecorated and was spotless. The hotel wasn’t too busy or crowded and everyone clearly wanted a peaceful family-friendly break. We didn’t have our children with us but could see it would be perfect for younger ones and we weren’t disturbed by the activities going on during the day - we even joined in one aqua fit session. It’s a short walk to the crystal clear sea (very small crowded beach though so we only popped down for dips). The pool bar serves fab cocktails and freshly prepared food which they were happy to adapt for vegans/veggies. Our three-bed apartment didn’t have a view or much sun, but on the plus side was totally secluded and quiet. We would definitely go back.

We had a brilliant time at this hotel. Was our 4th visit & we will definitely be back again. Hotel is lovely, staff friendly, great activities for the kids & good location.

Very good location, clean throughout, friendly and helpful staff, good animation team and pool area. Situated in a quiet residential area, sandwiched 5 minutes between beautiful Cala Gran and Cala Esmeralda bays (easily accessible through public gardens turning right or left at rear of hotel), and within 10 minutes of main centre, 5 minutes of nearest shops, bars and restaurants and 20 minutes from the Marina. Stayed self-catering so can't comment on breakfasts and meals, but prices for snacks and drinks at the poolside bar were a little high! Stayed in a comfortable Superior Apartment on top floor of block A (room 305) - good for sea view and quieter as end of block and no apartments above (sound proofing between apartments not brilliant, but too be expected in this type of complex). Apartments cleaned daily. Pleasant pool area and not difficult in terms of accessing sunbeds when we were there (24 Aug-18 to 2 Sept-18) - as usual non-reserving of beds with towels is ignored by most guests and there is no enforcement of this rule by the hotel and pool staff. Very family friendly complex, with day and night animation entertainment activities. Can't comment on night, but day was not too overpowering and could be fun for children, teens and adults. We stayed as a family of four, with our two teenage daughters who enjoyed their stay. Would recommend these apartments and definitely stay there again! Cala D'Or is a lovely resort

Decent hotel, with good customer service but prepare to share with 500 people during high season. The one pool is not big enough for the numbers of guests the hotel can accommodate. Loungers were full by 830a, pool doesn’t open up till 1000. Had a room pool side and their entertainment show in the pool area carried on until 1030p. Requested to be moved to a quieter location and hotel accommodated us. It is about a 5 minute walk to Cala Gran (beach). However, the beach is more densely packed than the hotel pool. One note: everyday for about an hour a smell of sewage wafted thru the complex. Not sure if this was an isolated occurrence.

Lovely holiday, couldn't fault the apartments. Location excellent, you can walk through the gardens down to Cala Esmerelda, the prettiest of the coves I think. The hotel is also a short walk from the centre & bouncy castle fun park. A big hit with our 6 yr old. Hotel pool & entertainment was spot on. If we holidayed in Cala D'or again would book these apartments again. Loved Cala D'or beautiful beaches even though they were very busy at this time of year. Great fot snorkelling. Lots of places to eat & streets to explore. Definitely recommend a trip to the Marina. Enjoyed a lovely meal watching the yacht's go by.

Modern, clean apartments in a complex with family friendly pool, entertainment for kids, and restaurant/bar.

Amazing place with kids. Lots of animation and water activites for the little ones. Pretty close to two gorgeous beaches. I think this is the perfect hotel if you are a family. Not so much for a romantic gateaway since there are many kids. The evenings shows are very original and the kids LOVED it. Everything was clean and the reception was nice.

Lovely and clean. Serviced every day by cleaners. Reception and bar staff very helpful and friendly.

Very close to the centre. Thanks to Expedia for ensuring that we were offered a room change as our first room overlooked a car park, was cold and dull as the sun did not reach that side of the building. However, the rest of our stay was very comfortable. The staff were helpful and friendly. Would recommend the nearby Indian restaurant but definitely not the Chinese next door!
