Excellent stay; breakfasts were awesome with various options; rooms are clean and service was good overall; the only comment is that no A/C in the rooms; maybe it is not necessary so no big issue, temperature was good but a little humid inside.

I appreciate that the hotel includes breakfast, and the parking is conveniently located within the hotel premises. The staff is always friendly and attentive, ensuring that the rooms and bathrooms are always clean and well-maintained.

Hotel Las Farolas is a peaceful retreat tucked away in a quiet, charming neighborhood of Antigua. The lush garden filled with vibrant plants and flowers makes it feel like you’re staying in a tropical oasis. Despite the tranquil setting, the location is incredibly convenient — just a 10-minute walk to the central square, the iconic Santa Catalina Arch, and plenty of great restaurants and cafés in the surrounding area. A perfect balance of relaxation and accessibility — we truly enjoyed our stay here!

I recently stayed at this hotel and honestly, it was a beautiful experience. The property is charming and well-kept, with daily room cleaning and a strong focus on guest comfort. While some minor cosmetic updates could elevate the space even more, the customer service truly made up for it the staff went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. The front desk team was consistently warm and welcoming, and the safety here is unmatched. The hotel entrance stays locked 24/7, and someone is always at the front to buzz you in. That level of security made me feel extremely safe. One major plus? You’re within walking distance of everything in the city super convenient if you’re trying to explore without relying on constant transportation. They also held my bags for free after checkout so I could explore more of the city stress-free. What a cool hotel! The room and grounds are beautiful. They have their own mini jungle in the middle of a town. Room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was included and tasty, especially the incredibly fresh, delicious fruit and juice. Good WiFi, gracious staff

Excellent hôtel. Well located. You have a nice breakfast in a beautiful garden. Everything was perfect except we would have liked the hotel personnel to fix the shower so we could have hot water but it did not seem to happen even after asking. Would still highly recommend.

We did not have hot water. The hot water came in for seconds, you need to wait for the water to get hot while you are with soap on. You need to rush to get the hot water. The rest was good. The bed, pillows very clean. It was noise at the back of the room.

Lovely place to stay with excellent breakfast and beautiful gardens full of birds. On the edge of the central area of the city but not too far from the park.

Property was nice and clean, room clean and quiet, one female staff was extremely unwelcoming, and dismissive, looked like she was fed up with her job all the times I saw her at the front desk, my check in was at 1500 so I waited and I saw her letting other people check in and asked 10mins early because people were just getting keys, she rudely said 1500. After she left a male staff let me check in right away at 1455 because the rooms were already ready. I know everyone else was nice but one person can ruin the experience for you.

The staff at Las Farolas are wonderful — very accommodating of special requests. We enjoy staying here as the rooms are comfortable, breakfast is good and convenient (the restaurant serves other meals, too) and the garden is delightful. The walk is not too far to other restaurants and the parque central.

Beautiful property with good breakfast. The biggest downside - low pressure water w essentially minimal hot water.
