Hotel Mea, is one of the wonders of Lipari. Set high up with uninterrupted view of Marina Lunga, the harbour and the Castelo. When we arrived, Maria at reception was very efficient in checking us in. She arranged to have our heavy suitcases taken up the steps to our room. Our view from a large alfresco balcony with a full lounges under cover and lounge chairs was breathtaking. The room was spacious and well appointed, and the Air-conditioning was first class, important in the hot month of August. The pool and spa were an Oasis on hot humid days, and Bartolo at the pool bar, looked after us with some of the best cocktails that can be served from a pool bar. He was also very good providing proper Sicilian Arrangini, with some excellent salads for lunch. The Italian breakfast was special including ricotta Canoli, spicideddi, and other Lipari original cakes and pastries. The location of the hotel is only a few minutes walk from the famous Vitorio Emmanual main street. Over all this was a very special hotel that made our visit to lipari, our third and best.

Staff at front desk is top notch. Very helpful. If it's hot out, not very walkable because it's uphill to hotel. But staying in and enjoying pool and services is enjoyable.

Perfect location in Lipari. Beautiful pool, nice breakfast, comfortable bed, and very helpful and accommodating staff. We were very pleased with our choice to stay here.

Loved this hotel - couldn’t fault anything about it. I wished we were staying longer. Easy walk to the Liberty Lines ferry terminal.

I was blown away by the beauty of this hotel along with the excellent front desk staff The view of the sea is amazing 🤩 And the front desk was super !
