4* pools and garden, everywhere else more basic. Family review (2 young children) Very clean apartment, great daily maid service, shared areas always being cleaned/maintained Beautiful pools, play area and gardens Blackout curtains meant great sleep Terrace area spacious and clean Washing machine in apartment - Expensive to park in the hotel car park (10 euro/day) so we parked elsewhere - Breakfast buffet basic and same every day - Chips only option with dinner 9 nights out of 10 - Had booked bed rails for the kids, these weren't in apartment on arrival, reception said I could collect and take back (not practical doing this with toddler, no offer to help) - Cot bedding had no pillow (apartment pillows much too big to fit) and was just a sheet plus huge blanket so would recommend taking own bedding (cost 30 euro extra for the cot too) - Pools only open 10.30-6.30, another hour either side would have been perfect

Great place, convenient locations. Food options are a bit limited but there are many great restaurants around.

We really loved staying here! We’ve stayed in a lot of apartments and this was very much up there with the best. Whilst not the most modern decor (not a problem for us) the apartment was very clean, and well thought out, with plenty of space, comfy beds and pillows, excellent WiFi, quiet and effective aircon, and a washing machine in the bathroom! The kitchen had enough utensils to prepare a simple meal, and all the crockery and cutlery was very clean and good quality. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. As well, we loved the grounds, which were well maintained and full of beautiful pine nut trees and Olive trees, typical of the surrounding area of the Costa brava, which provided some much needed shade from the heat. And of course the excellent swimming pool and outdoor spa which we enjoyed using. Checking out was a little early for us, 10 am but we were able to use the pool and shower by the pool afterwards before setting off for our flight home. There is a car park which costs €10 per day, which we used for free to check in and access our room. The hotel is walking distance to some beautiful beaches along the “Cami de Ronda” and a short drive to nearby towns.

Perfect location , very friendly staff, very clean rooms , lovely gardens

The hotel is very nice, super clean with well equipped apartments. It is situated in the park, few minutes walk to three beautiful beaches and 5-7 minute walk to restaurants and shops. We will be coming back to this hotel soon.

Very pleasant stay, great location clise to a great beach , very goid service and nice breakfast. A trip to Girona and nearby villages is a must

Stayed here a number of times and seen improvements over the years but the wifi remains poor and they should be firmer about smoking in the rooms.

We went with 20 month old daughter and stayed around the area. There are lots of nice beaches and plenty to do for kids

Great place with decent food and extremely family friendly. Great location, almost everything is within walking distance. Rooms are simple, yet clean and well maintained. Include everything you need, incl. a fully equipped kitchen and a washer. We would book here again.

Great location at the top end of the Main Street. Hotel has a lovely pool area situated in immaculate grounds. An apartment style room with all the basic requirements including washing machine. Ideal for a family holiday.

Went for a long weekend with my wife and daughter shame we had to come home so early. Spotlessly clean but quarry tiles in apartments and corridors remind you of smelly toilet floors makes the place look cheap not a good look for a four star hotel don't no what they were thinking of also reception needs a facelift apart from that I could not fault the place and location next to Beach and centre where there are loads of restaurants and bars "also loads of shopping wife loved it loads of lovely boutiques all with in a ten minute walk from the hotel

We stayed April 23rd for one week reception staff very obliging and helpful I telephoned requesting a ground floor as we are getting on in years Julia very kindly saw that we did but in all honesty it was not necessary as there were lifts to the upper floors where the remarkable views were to be had but we were satisfied. The apartments were lovely very very clean well equipped and spacious Would definately recommend this property to people with young children as the pools were beautiful and had a lifeguard on duty at all times. I would love to go back there in the near future. Thank you all for a lovely holiday

Lovely holiday apartments just a few minutes from the beach and a short walk into town for a wide choice of restaurants and shops. The landscaping around the apartment blocks is absolutely beautiful. There are lots of play areas, a great place for children. The cleanliness of the apartment was impeccable.

Service in the apartments was excellent. The staff at reception were extremely helpful. The staff in bar and restaurant were just as good. Food and drink was very good and not expensive, compared to places in Platja dAro town. The nearest beach was about 10 mins walk away and once you got there, you could choose from a number of little coves. However , the town was a good walk away and you would definitely need to be prepared to walk 20/25 mins before you had a choice of restaurants. Taxis are expensive there. Weather can be very cool at night and in mornings (April). All in all a good holiday but be prepared for a lot of walking and a lot of steps down to some of coves. Restaurants and bars down down can be expensive. Restaurant and bar in Ciutat de Palol good value and very pleasant service.

Wonderful relaxing lovely staff lovely environment and location and beaches

Second visit and probably will stay again. Staff at reception helpful. Can get busy at the pool but part of the problem is some clients don't speak English or Spanish so they don't understand the rules about reserving sunbeds being a no no.
