Staff was very friendly and the room was clean. However the shared shower room floor was all wet and we didn’t dare to have a shower

A (possibly mentally ill or likely drunk) man entered the dorm room in the middle of the night and wouldn’t stop talking (either in a language none of the guests seemed to understand, or gibberish) and making loud noises and switching the lights on. Other guests in the dorm room repeatedly asked him to stop talking and be quiet, to no avail. He went on for hours. The guest in the bunk bed below me tried to reason with the man (and presumably went to the front desk to complain) but after all packed her things and left the hostel. I waited and tried to asleep again but was awake for most of the night. I only had to leave at 6:30 but at 5:45 I gave up and left. The room was otherwise loud with street noise and bright because of street lights. I wouldn’t recommend or stay at this hostel again.

A basic, no frills hotel, does the job fine as long as you're happy with that

Poor staff experience. The check in staff seemed rude and disinterested. Also you have to pay a deposit in cash but it was €7 euros to withdraw cash from the atm close by so I had to leave my passport. This was at no point locked away or stored safely and when I asked for it back I was offered someone else’s. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting and smelt of urine and at no point in my stay were they cleaned. The light from the corridor was flicking on and off all night which shone straight through the window.

Good hostel for the money you pay, but they need to make some improvements in the rooms

The place smelled like sewer in each floor, the bathroom smell was awful. They provided a thin paper like blanket, I am still wondering why I peeled off the sheets to find human juices like on the mattress. Walls are also paper thin so you can hear everything from the adjacent room. The toilet didn’t have a flushing mechanism. Not even backpacking at “Bob’s Hostel” had such a bad experience. Location is great. I forget, I tried the AC unit, it didn’t work 😳

very dirty place, the air con was not working and leaking, the bathroom is ridiculously dirty, highly not recommend to stay in here, the only good thing is the staff are very friendly.

The lady on check in was very friendly and helpful. In comparison the men working the reception at night were unpleasant.

Employees were fine (I felt sorry for them), though they lied about the warm water getting fixed. Property was not kept up what-so-ever. This owner is a SLUM LORD. The place was run down, dirty and falling apart... no hot water, wifi was spotty and slow, no light to each bed and some did not have working electrical outlets. And the place is not that cheap either. SHAME ON THE OWNER. Especially compared to what else is on the market.... you've been warned... stay away from this place .

The air conditioning in our room was broken, we did not sleep at night at all. The second day they have changed our room were the air conditioning was working, but stuck on a colder temperature, so, again we did not sleep well. The rooms, the bathroom and the hostel were not clean and everything was old. The only good thing was the breakfast, that was only 2.5 euros with a basic breakfast.

The place has no parking. You can park in a place near by but it cost a-lot. Got a 4 bed room- verrryy small. No windows. No air. Felt like a jail cell.the bath had realy bed smell. Couldn't saty there. Left after 5 min

The hostel is well-equipped, clean and in an excellent location. Would stay again.

Hostel staff is extremely nice and welcoming. Vibe of the hostel however is not too nice with some shady people, I would advice female solo travellers to book a female dorm here.

Probably the worst hostel I’ve ever stayed at. There was black mold in the shower and no toilet paper in the and stains all over the mattresses
