Absolutely amazing hotel. We have stayed here 5 times and literally can not fault it. The food is delicious with a vast amount of choice. Quality is always extremely good too. The private infinitey pool area is a delightful touch aswell with spendid views of the beach. The hotel itself is managed to a very high standard. The bedrooms are all spotless and are all equipped with showergel/conditioner aswell as a well-stocked tea/coffee station. We always enjoy our stay here.

We stayed in the hotel for 7 days. Beautiful and extremely clean hotel in an excellent location, near the beach and with a regularly serviced bus stop in front of the hotel. The food was great with wide choice of menu. The staff were courteous and helpful. Would have given 5 stars for the room if the hotel provided a complimentary bottle of water in the room on the first day, and if the King size bed did not consist of two single mattresses. The Friday night 'White Party' was fantastic.

We love the hotel and its quiet location, however it’s within easy walking distance to shops restaurants and the local bus stop. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the rooms are comfortable and spacious. The staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. They are helpful and sort out any issues quickly and efficiently. There is a plentiful choice of food for breakfast and evening meal and it’s delicious. The Spanish restaurant on site is well worth a visit. The pool beside the beach/promenade is our favourite place through the day and the staff at the beach bar are very friendly and attentive. We’ve stayed here a few times now and we will definitely return.

This was our 7th visit to RIU Arecas. I visit with 2 daughters one of which has special needs. From the outset we are greeted with brilliant reception staff. All requests have been dealt with and we are made to feel that you are truly on holiday and relaxation comes easy. The staff make such a fuss of my daughter and inclusion is next to none. Our rooms are to a high level of cleanliness and have anything you need for a relaxing stay. The choice of pools are wonderful which includes the infinity pool overlooking the beach. I have a number of food allergies but even this is no problem as my meal is always cooked separately. The buffet is excellent for breakfast and dinner and the choices are vast. I cannot recommend this hotel high enough. If you want a relaxing break with all hotel staff friendly, efficient and with a great sense of giving their clients the best stay- This is the place to stay.

Our 4th visit to the Riu Arecas, and we will be coming again ! We have had a gap of 2 years, due to our own health problems,but we're pleased to see many of the same staff still there, particular thanks to Andrew on Reception with his help on our phone problems. We always find it a pleasant andclean hotel and it is even better now. Particular improvements are noticeable in the restaurant, there was an even better choice and presentation of food and a much better atmosphere all round under the ladies who now share the running of the seating and service,much calmer and efficient. My only criticism would be the change in the preparation of omelette, these were freshly prepared with a wide choice of fillings and cooked to your choice, I like mine very well done, but now the choice is limited and you have no input.OK you waited a few minutes while they were prepared before but I never heard anyone complain. Another improved area was the evening entertainment, lots better than previously, unfortunately that meant the bar was a lot busier
