Bacon on breakfast was burnt, so had the eggs the next day. Would not recommend the cooked breakfast, another customer on next table complained his beans were cold. Think the breakfast is cooked and then maybe stands on the side and goes cold. The juice was lovely from continental selection and eggs benedict were lovely

Perfect 2 night stay for Northumberland coast trip - Seahouses, Farne Islands, Bamburgh Casle all within easy reach. The hotel and restaurant were very good.

Overall excellent place to stay. Staff friendly and service fantastic. The only downside was music could be heard from the bar area at night until approximately 10pm. This didn’t bother us, but it’s worth bearing in mind when making a reservation. Location was superb, short drive to Bamburgh Castle, Seahouses for trips to the Farne Isles and even Holy Island was within reach. The beautiful beach at Beadnell was only a short walk away. Would stay here again in a heartbeat and probably one of the best short breaks i’ve had in the UK.

This boutique hotel is perfect in every way. A fantastic location close to the beach and other local areas like Seahouses, Bamburgh, Craster, Alnwick and Beadnell village. The staff are so friendly, smiley and helpful and work so hard. The Full Northumbrian breakfast is outstanding . We will be returning. Thank you !

Lovely, clean room (Muckle). Very friendly and helpful staff. Just a few little niggles, such as the tv remote had no cover over the batteries and didn’t work properly as a result. No coffee machine or mini fridge, both pretty standard these days, even in much less expensive rooms. The decor, both room and hotel generally, is really nicely done, and overall, we had a lovely stay. No better recommendation than to say we would definitely stay there again.

Lovely stay in a quaint area. Beach walks from the doorstep and our dog was treated well throughout the stay. The outdoor dog wash was really handy too! Food was delicious and bed was comfy

The staff are so helpful and polite. The internal decoration is quality. What's lovely is there's a reading room for those times when peace, quiet, good book and a cocktail can be enjoyed. Definitely a hotel to revisit many times

We stayed in a room called 'Ducket' which was exceptionally clean and well equipped, with amazing views over the sea. The staff were also very friendly and helpful and the cocktail happy hour was a bonus! I would recommend this hotel to all.
