The staff were wonderful and provided us all items we required. While there was so refrigerator or kettle in the room, they allowed us to leave items in their office refrigerator downstairs as well as provided us mugs for the hot water cooler to make our tea in the morning. The location is very convenient for driving and walking. Parking nearby is easy and safe as well walking to the ferry for a day trip to Tangier was only 10minutes. Many shops and restaurants nearby. The rooms are a bit older and could use an update, but it was very clean and a comfortable bed.

The room was spacious and even had a jacuzzi tub. Excellent location

Our stay at Hotel Convento in Terifa was made memorable by the wonderful way Lola greeted and treated us. She was so helpful and exuberant!!! The hotel is 1/2 a block from the entrance to the old, walled town, where shopping and dining is plentiful It is also just a 10 minute walk to the ferry to Tangiers. The room, while generous, did not include kleenex/tissue in either the bathroom or the bedroom. And it would have been nice if one or more of the English channels on the TV actually worked, instead of just teasing us.

Nice location, very pleasant staff. Wonderful bed. Very clean. Sadly, the internet was terrible. They tried to hook me up with the one for reception but it still didn’t work. Must give A for effort.

I really did not sleep or enjoyed this hotel. It was in a good area and it is unique but the room was awful. I had ants crawling over me at night and the room was so humid that the sheets felt wet. There was noise from some event and early morning people coming from back door which was literally next to our patio area. Overall don’t recommend especially 112 and the room next to it. There was also no water or dripping when we came in the afternoon. Terrible.

Helpful staff and a really convenient location. Parking was close by and a member of staff took us to the parking garage.

Great hotel to enjoy Tarifa. Very good location, super clean and staff friendly. I would prefer a more firm mattress. Shower was great, A/C in the room is excellent too. But for me the outstanding was the breakfast, great selection and everything fresh.

Great location, just outside the gate to old town. staff is lovely, helpful and friendly. Hotel is basic, room is basic. Bed is a little soft. It is very clean and you feel safe and comfortable but I am not sure I would choose it again

Amazing staff, charming hotel (and we loved the hotel’s unofficial canine mascot), location is a 60 second walk to the city center and ferries.

Hotel Convento Tarifa was a great place to stay. We enjoyed the patio in the evening and breakfast the next morning. Staff was amazing and helpful!

OMG - If you are heading to Tarifa, this is place is definitely worth serious consideration. Beautiful room, an oversized tub with massage jets. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Everything is a short walk away including the ferry to Tangier Ville.

I would highly recommend Hotel Convento Tarifa. It was recommend to us by a friend and it did not disappoint. From the moment we walked into the hotel we felt very welcome. Lulu was so nice and helpful with recommending places to see and where to eat depending on our likes. The room was very clean and comfy. Very close to the ferry to Morocco and the beach.

First, I booked the wrong day, and the rate was nonrefundable. I sent them a message, and they switched the day of arrival. They could have stuck me an didn't. Classy! The room was great, nice courtyard behind. Front desk person gave me a map and told me where to go. The hotel is close to the old section of town. I even walked from the ferry to the hotel. Nice little coffee shop in the back.

Overall, good. However, the hotel or room did not look like the photos. That would be my only comment.

Great staff and very friendly people

We liked how helpful the staff was, the location near the old town was great and it was close to some shopping. We did not like that no coffee was in the room. Breakfast and coffee were available for a cost.
