For €240 a night I expected more when I checked in. There’s huge stairs at the entrance of the hotel and the lift is not working. And when going to your room there’s no help with the bags, that was a little disappointing. The room service ended at 23:30, it would’ve been nice to be informed prior, or to have a night menu, as there’s nothing around the area for food. Decoration is beautiful and the hotel itself is nice. They should add some chess in the lobby because I would’ve enjoyed just sitting there in the nice ambient light.

Rooms are massive and of a high standard, only feedback I have would be if the power sockets had USB that would have been handy. But great hotel and will stay again when I’m back in Dordrecht.

Decent hotel but hold on to your chair- why charge 25eur (!) for room service? Wife is sick can’t go down, I’m not allowed to bring up myself so I’m forced to pay 25e. Never seen someone get paid that much for bringing a salad upstairs. Why?

Van der valk has stepped up the game. Modern interior and comfortable. Great restaurant with outdoor seating. I give this place five stars 🖐️

I stayed two nights at the hotel and I liked it. The room was in the 'new building and it was very spacious and bright. Overall, I was warm during the night ( maybe not possible to fully stop the heating system?). The breakfast was good and with a lot of varieties of food for salty or sweet choices. The entrance with a lot of stairs is not ideal when having a suitcase. A passerelle would be needed to facilitate the entrance.
