You guys should update your pictures on Expedia. The property is beautiful and you’re not really advertising that in my opinion. You could get tons of business from people like my wife and I who love and appreciate the colonial architecture in Guatemala.

Staff was by far the best part. My shuttle to the hotel was delayed three hours and the hotel staff was up and waiting. They welcomed me by name, and had the room ready to go. Only stayed to sleep before an early morning so I didn’t get to check out the property much, but it looked very cozy and nice. It was a little loud at night, but in a downtown travelers area I would expect a little noise. I was able to sleep just fine though. I’d stay here again.

I love how everything is close by in antigua especially staying at this hotel. I felt very safe and I enjoyed my stay here. I was there by myself and it was amazing

For a couple of nights it’s fine! Location it’s great really close to the majority of the attractions, you have to walk to get breakfast or get to the pool so I decided to get food on my own so not to convenient

We loved the authentic cultural esthetics and atmosphere. Very calm and peaceful. A sense of home all around. The staff were pleasant and friendly, very attentive and helpful. Rooms were a spacious and quaint. Had several seating area inside upstairs and downstairs if you choose to grab a snack or order in to sit and enjoy. Check in was quick and easy, comfortable seating area in the lobby. As soon as you step out the front door, you’re right in the heart of everything. Plenty of options to eat and places to go.

I needed a quiet hotel and this was perfect. The staff was exceptional, very attentive and responsive to requests. Very clean room, comfortable sheets. The inner courtyard garden is absolutely beautiful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Very nice hotel!!

Mesón Del Valle is located only a few blocks away from the main square. There are a lot of restaurants and shops near by. The staff is very helpful and Mr. Alexander even helped us to carry our suitcases to the taxi which was 2 blocks away because street closings due to the processions of Holy Week. My only complaint is that the rooms ceilings are painted in brown and they make the room very gloomy. Additionally they don’t have enough ventilation and they smell like mold. We had 2 beds and I put our clothes on the other bed to avoid the smell. Because of the darkness I had to go outside to put on my make up. You can’t do it inside! Hopefully, they will take my review into consideration to make the stay of the guests more enjoyable.

The Mason de Valle is part of the AHS hotel chain, and when you stay there you can use their pools and rooftop terraces in their other locations. Staff was so helpful and all of their properties were beautiful. PS we really loved Katie!!!
