Very good small hotel well situated

The warm welcome when we arrived at 8pm.

Les hôtes sont vraiment accueillants, l'hôtel soi-même est bien situé et vraiment aimiable.

We had a comfortable stay at Nouvel hotel, the staff was friendly and even let us check in early.

Room we had was very outdated regarding furniture - 1950's! Bed was comfortable, Shower and toilet very cramped and outdated. Our room was on third floor. No lift so had to carry heavy case up steep spiral staircase!! Heart attack job!

Nice hotel close to the beach, but unfortunately the staff let this place down a little bit. On arrival I felt like we were inconveniencing the staff; they never once mentioned things to do in Saint Raphael or gave us any recommendations, not even a map. This is what you expect from good hotel staff. A mix up in communication had meant that we had to pay upfront (we thought we had already paid through expedia) and the manager seemed exasperated by the whole affair. I felt like we were walking on eggshells around the manager, especially as this is a very small hotel. If the staff do not bother you, this hotel is clean and in a great location. Quite basic but for the price you can't expect much more.

Tiny room with no air-conditioning so we had to keep window open in very hot weather, thus very noisy.

I only spent one night in this little hotel and overall I have no complaints. It's very close to the promenade and the main train/bus station. The only thing is that the hotel has no lift so if you have a heavy suitcase ask for a room on the lower floor.

The owners are pleasant and artsy but with marginal ability with English. So be sure you can communicate at least a little bit in French. This is a minimalist type hotel, stairs and shower only, with rooms overlooking the side street coming from the Gare and running another 50 meters to the beach. Rooms are small and the owners strive to conserve both water and electric resources. Windows have shutters and cooling is by a ceiling fan. If you are here in cooler weather there is a temperature governed heater. There's a TV in each room, but with no English speaking channels that I could find. There's space to hang and store clothing. Should you choose to stay here you can pay an additional 6.50 euro for a continental breakfast and you'll also be given a key that not only opens your room but the front door, too. Half-board is available on inquiry. Reception closes mid-afternoon and occasionally at other times. Credit cards are accepted but reservation information is by ledger and not computer. If you play the piano you'll find one for your use in the sitting room.

A couple of decent pillows would improve comfort level

Very basic accomodation, but adequate. Conveniently close to beach and railway station.

Idéalement situé, proche du centre ville et de la plage du Veillat ! Beaucoup de restaurant autour ..Tout était parfait !

Die Hotelzimmer sind klein und es riecht unangenehm. In der Dusche gibt es nicht einmal eine Halterung für den Duschkopf. Das Doppelbett ist klein und die Matratzen sind unbequem. Das Personal war sehr unfreundlich – während unseres Aufenthalts wurden die Fernbedienungen für die Klimaanlage weggenommen. Als Begründung wurde angegeben, dass die Fenster offen waren, obwohl sie die ganze Zeit geschlossen waren. Offensichtlich versucht das Hotel auf Kosten der Gäste Strom zu sparen. Das Zimmer war für 2 Erwachsene und 1 Kind gebucht, es gab aber nur 2 Handtücher und nicht einmal eine Matte oder ein Handtuch für den Boden nach dem Duschen.
