We were given the keys on arrival and just did our own thing after that. Stayed 2 nights found the place satisfactory.

First room was mouldy and we asked for another. Site was OK to accommodate after smelling the room. The second room we stayed in, had ripped and stained carpet, a cracked toilet and a toilet leak that refilled on and off all night. We payed online, but had our card scanned again for a higher amount (with a higher amount on receipt), and had to raise it with reception. At this stage, it looks Iike the second scan was not put through, so can breath some relief. Suggest asking to see room, prior to making payment.

This is the second time we have spent the night in Katoomba Town Center Motel, the location is close to the dining and wools so it makes it easy for us and our family to need daily necessities. Only the check-out time does not match between those stated on the voucher (p. 13.00) with hotel conditions (p. 10.00). Maybe the application needs to re-certify the check-out time.

Centrally located, just a short walk from Katoomba train station. Aldi supermarket is just across the road, not to mention Woolies and Coles a block way. Some casual dining also nearby. The room we got was large and nicely maintained and cleaned despite shown some slight wear and tear. The continental breakfast was also nice.
