This was perfect in an old historic building. Ancient elevator. Wonderful AC and the room was perfectly adequate. Very accommodating staff. Suited our needs perfectly. Don’t miss the church right across from the massive front doors. Could’ve stayed for several days here.

Good location, short walk from Gran Via, street was reasonably quiet at night. Room was adequately sized for 2 beds, bathroom/WC could be a challenge for bigger persons. Good cleanliness, daily cleaning. Shower next door/water was clearly audible. Good WiFi, bed comfortable although mattress is easily movable as loosely set on bed frame. TV was very small with local stations only. AC was fine.

I enjoyed my stays at this hostal because the room was very clean and it has a private bathroom. The place were the property is located is very quiet so you can have a good sleep. The property also is very close to restaurants, to the Grand Via, the Plaza Mayor.

Internet don't work properly and staff can not speak English

Very nice staff! Room was great, including having a sink in it. Spacious for a single room. I liked having a desk and chair so I could work. GREAT location - out of the noise and chaos of the main plazas, but very convenient and good neighborhood.

This is the cleanest shared facility i have been in. The toilets are expectionally spotless. Good upkeep

Easy to check in, shared bathrooms were always very clean, within walking distance to train station/major attractions/grocery stores, safe, great wifi The only downside (which is a no fault of the property) is the building is quite loud, always people coming and going at all hours in the hostel that can be heard clearly or doors being slammed in the courtyard

Despite my having confirmed I would not arrive until the second night I’d paid for, they cancelled my reservation. It worked out in the end, but very stressful!

It was an amazing stay, form the moment I arrived, during the stay and even during mu return, as I did after visiting other cities, That's How Good it WAS!

Great location, the check in process was smooth and easy. The room itself was basic and warm though the bed was a very small (I am 6"2 / 188cm) and I didnt fit well. Also, the bed was shacking every time I moved in bed. Overall basic and ok for the price and a night.

El baño extremadamente pequeño. Te sentabas en la poceta y las rodillas tocaban la pared. Las camas terribles. El colchón se movia todo el tiempo. La cama no estaba fija al cabecero

We loved staying here as it was perfectly located in the middle of everything. Staff were friendly and accommodating, and the room was in good shape. However, the shared bathrooms were quite small and uncomfortable to use. If you spend a lot of time in there, would be best to go for the private bathroom option. Thank you for our stay :)

Did not expect such nasty environment

The only positive aspect is the location: close to gran via ( a few hundred metres from metro Callao). The hostal is located on the 2nd floor with lift of a building. The room is extremely small, so are the beds. It was not clean. For the bathroom you have to wait a really long time to get hot water and then you burn yourself. The shower is a really small bathtub. The staff only speaks Spanish, not very friendly. Walls really thin, so you can hear everything from people talking to water running. We had to ask for toilet paper and the staff person asked for our room number.
